Diane, I'm truly proud and impressed by your commitment to exercise and your good results. Respect! Staying mobile and fit at our stage of life definitely requires effort, consistency, and self-love.

Shoot! I just lost my post because I hit one of the ads on the page by mistake.
Weight 122.6. Yesterday it rained most of the day so I didn't do much other than get my car inspected, finish a book, and finally take Justice for a long walk by the water in late afternoon.
Today the Purchase and Sale contract signing and escrow delivery deadline is at noon. Haven't heard anything since their attorney contacted mine early Friday saying that her clients wanted it done as they were nervous. Not that nervous apparently. Now I am worried. I really don't want to have to start showing the place again. Maybe we should have stayed at DH's home until it was signed.
I have multiple appointments today which I hate though I used to plan them this way when I was young and working. After that I am out to dinner with 2 SILs and 2 nieces. DH is going to his house with Justice for work around his house and a beach walk with Justice. He wants to try hitting golf balls which he hasn't been able to do for over 2 weeks after straining something in his leg. He usually plays 3 times a week this time of year so is really missing it.
Time to press submit before I mess up and press the wrong place on the screen again. Have a tactual Tuesday!

Your balance practice is working! Great NSV!

Greetings all
Sunny and nice today. There was a layer of fog over Trinidad bay this afternoon but it was not all that deep so sea stacks and trees were sticking up though it. Post card look.
Stopped in the studio today and they are getting right on the painting. Time for me to disappear to avoid being volunteered. Ladders are for young people. I picked up new items and worked on a few more. Then off to the gallery for delivery. One thing I took to the gallery was a package that the post office returned to us. It had our gallery as a return address though it was slightly altered. Addressed to someone in Ohio. No one at the gallery responded as to who sent it. We assumed it was an item of art sold at our gallery. We opened it. It was a bunch of little tins of hashish! LOL someone thought they could send this to themselves and used our return address. Not sure why it was returned. It had a ton of wrappings no doubt to deter drug dogs. We think it's funny.
Congrats Liz on being at goal. You rock. Please share your maintenance secrets as they evolve. (don't eat so much - ok we got that one).
Stopped in at the hippie grocery and bought stuff at the deli for dinner and beyond. It was pretty much all protein intense healthy items except one small thing of potato salad.
Well crap I figured out my retirement account is distributing faster than I thought I had instructed. Got that corrected but for this year I will have twice as much as desired. Boo Hoo. Taxes.
Hey Paula I vote for nap.
Today I went to CVS, which you all know I hate, to get coffee. They are the only place that reliably has what I want. For the first time in a long time I did not need to take a shopping cart as a balance aid. Felt fine without it. An NSV for this old lady.
We started a new series on Apple called "Pa*****o". I wasn't sure what to expect but it's a very good drama about a Korean family earlier in the century. Whew, not a good time to be female.
Cheers. Diane S

Nothing to report really...
Hot, cloudy, and very humid today so no interest in being outside. My dad and his wife headed north to a doctor's appointment. The lawn guys are here mowing away. I haven't weighed the last two days. It's getting depressing.
Hope you all are well!
Weight down another 1/2 lb. but like Peps I don't pay much attention to the little changes.
Ours friends that have the newborn are now in the hospital with her. Poor thing has a staph infection and has blisters. They will need to do a spinal tap to make sure it isn't in her spine and lead to meningitis. If you are the praying type, please offer up a prayer or two for baby Evelyn. She has had a rough first week, first feeding problems and colic and now this. Pretty stressful for these first time parents!
Rainy, gloomy day today. Went to the Botanical Gardens with DC 1 yesterday since it was overcast then too so think a nap is in order for today then editing of the pics I took yesterday.
I remember losing past where I wanted with VSG too Liz. Hope you are able to find the right combination of meds and eating in maintenance. It is kind of a trial and error process!
Weight 121.8. I am planning on weighing mostly daily (when I have time/remember) now that I am in maintenance range. Still losing weight so I need to work harder at eating. Always makes me feel amazed when I say that. I did have a snack of cottage cheese last night and I felt like I ate plenty for dinner (pizza) but I guess I need more snacks, as I really don't want to go below 120. I did drop my dose of tirzepatide to 5 mg this week. From what I am reading the step-down should be similar to stepping up - 4 weeks at a dose before changing.
It turned out to be a cloudy then rainy day yesterday so no beach. But we did take Justice for a 4 mile walk on the Cape Cod Canal mid-day. Always a nice walk and there were tons of boats going through the canal. It looks like today will be rainy this morning but potentially dry in the afternoon so we may find a good place to take the dog for a walk after I get my annual state inspection on the car. I hate having to do that. My car is going to the dealer for servicing on Wednesday so I was hoping they could do it but they don't have inspection facilities on-site.
Not much else on the agenda though I should trash some more things left behind from the big clean-up and take pictures of Christmas stuff for DD to view to decide what she might want. Hopefully the Purchase and Sale contract gets signed today, just leaving their mortgage approval as the last hurdle before the deal really feels final.
Have a macropodine Monday!

I've been trying to balance on one foot at a time for as long as I can. Much better on the left than the right.

Another great day here. Overcast start, sunny now. Same thing every day. Works for me.
I did some work at the studio. Glazed and made a few items and tidied others for firing. This is getting to be a job! I heard from the gallery today that I am almost sold out again. So much for price raise. The whole gallery is going gangbusters this summer. We are going to have to do some serious planning for year end.
Watched the rest of the Olympic opening ceremony last night and the tower light show did not disappoint. Love this stuff even though I am not much for sports. But I can't figure out how Snoop dog got to be such a big deal in the Olympics and carried the torch. Just because he cooks with Martha Stewart?
CC the next door RV party sounds like a pain. But I doubt slamming windows would do any good. They would not notice. Any clue when they are leaving? Does Kirby bark at them?
Yay on dress Liz. Glad thats all going smoothly. Now I have to go look up quahog and what they are stuffed with.
Paula keep prospecting on the art shows. There are probably a million options in Florida. Our gallery sells lots and many are photos of local stuff. People really like the nature scenes.
Burgers last night were great if I say so myself. More tonight. DH got both dogs out for walks today. He did his good deed for the day by chatting with a 94 year old man who was out walking and mostly talking. Small towns have benefits.
Still doing walking and trying to do as much as I can without holding on. Noticeable difference.
