Fun day in Kihei today. Yummy fish taco for lunch and shave ice for dessert! Wore one of my new Tommy Bahama outfits! Felt very vacationy.

Y'all I have sagging knees! Skin is sagging all over but for the most part is hidden by clothes. But dang it all, my knees are sagging! I also have no butt. The skirt I'm wearing today is an XXS while the top is a medium! Narrow hips and no butt! I'll be happy to get a tummy tuck (probably next Fall). Not sure if I will do the thigh lift. I didn't need the face lift 8 years ago but it certainly would help now. I'll give it all time to see where I even out and start hitting the home gym to firm up my muscles!

Why can't we just be happy with our bodies? My DH told me to stop being so critical with myself!

Sorry to those of you having cold weather. I don't mean to be taunting you all!

By any chance are you planning to be in town between August 20 -25? I'm probably coming again for a dog show in the same place. The club there is celebrating 50 years and has a great line up of judges. And if you remember, I was pretty smitten with Minnesota in the summer time!

Greetings all

It's another sunny day here and quite calm. Good thing because we made our voyage to the beach to meet up with Poppy's brother and another dog plus owners. This beach is kind of out of the way and fairly easy access. What I did not count on is that crab season is starting and fishing boats go out from the pier here so there were piles of cab traps in the parking lot plus trucks and people moving them. But the beach was fun. I let Poppy run loose and she was mostly pretty good except for one attempted escape through the parking lot. But all is well and she had a great time running around. They have redone the beach access as it is for boat launching but it's fine. Nice pavers. But boy am I worn out. Big day for me. Then some butthead parked so close to the driver side neither one of us could get in. I had to go in the passenger side and climb over the consule. Good thing our electric car has no transmission hump. It was the most athletic thing I have done in years.

Great weekend Peps! BIS owner is a BFD. Enjoy the wins! Love hearing it.

DD sympathies for the cold. Glad you have the Florida trip booked. And I hear you on the husband dinner shopping. My DH brought home two cans of Beeferoni! Seriously? But on some cold rainy night it will be appealing. We are fortunate that there are a couple of hippy dippy grocery stores that have delis. Last night it was chicken tenders. Tonights dinner is to be determined but I am not going out again. Hmmm beeferoni????

Liz those kids sound like fun. Teenage energy is fun. And a good Reuben is to die for. Best ever if done right. But Justice has snuggle rights!

Bonnie what cool art supplies!! I don't know some of them but they all sound great. Score!! What are you going to make? I am intrigued by the air brush. Thats a seriously artsy thing.

Aloha Paula.

Cheers all. Diane S

It's just infuriating that people might be cut off from a medication that does them so much good because of no insurance coverage, making it out of reach financially! Infuriating that people are having to pay $300 out of pocket, but at least that's doable for some, but $1200 is not doable for many. Another part of our broken health care system.

So cold today, it was -3 on the way to work. Luckily the wind wasn't too gusty, so it was only a wind chill of -15. Excellent motivator to WALK FAST to get in the building. I survived.

We have morphed into the go to the grocery store every other day people too. Except it's DH doing the shopping, and I'm tired of frozen pizzas, so I went along with a few menu plans in mind that DH could cook, nothing fancy, but better than the aforementioned frozen pizzas. I think we bought enough for about 4 different meals, which should last us more than a week with leftovers. Tonight is cheeseburger sliders with mixed veggies, later this week, white guy tacos, breakfast pizza, grilled cheese with tomato basil bisque ( from the fancy store deli), and a frozen quiche Lorraine (also from fancy store deli). DH will still need to go to the grocery store for produce. He's on an apple kick.

We finalized our trip to Florida by reserving a condo in a timeshare complex we've stayed in before. Also nothing fancy, but quite serviceable as it has a pool with palm trees, and a balcony. And DH's wish: a poolside bar/grill should he require a sandwich and/or ****tail while sunbathing. We leave the evening of February 14, and return the 20th, so with President's Day holiday, we managed to squeeze out 6 days from my 3 personal days. Yes!!!

They said they would, but I have not heard anything since that initial announcement.

Is Orderly offering a 6 month order before shutting down injectable tirzepatide in February/March?

212.9 Leave it to a dog show weekend with careful eating and not enough liquid to show a drop on the scale! Whoo hooo.... Just hope that the increase in water consumption today doesn't negate the drop on the scale.

I need to contact OrderlyMeds and see if I can go ahead and order my 6 month supply to tirzepatide now, or if I have to wait a few more weeks.

Good session with eating disorder nutritional counselor on Friday. Always something to work on.

Beginning of the year money has all been transferred, so it's time to get the new dishwasher and water heater ordered and installed.

Dog show was really good for Buster this weekend. Came away with some very significant wins! For Diane S., he won the regular group on Saturday and a regular G3 on Sunday. He won the Owner handled group both days and a best in Show owner handled on Saturday.

Lots on the docket this week. I'm thinking I need to make a list! LOL! (As we all know, that is not my forte!)

Weird dream about my mom last night. It made me uneasy. I must be working through something because in my dream I was talking about my negative feelings towards her - sort of a love/hate feeling. I don't know why but that made me feel very uncomfortable when I woke up.

Not much else going on. Just same old.... work, visit dad, work out, tend to dogs, make dinner, etc... for the rest of the day.

Oh, and I did NOT feel our earthquake yesterday because I was at the dog show. BOOOOOOO! I do love the little ones. They are actually kind of fun. If they are too big, not so much! It was a 3.7 centered about a mile from my home.

That's for multiple pieces! And always worth it at TB IMHO.

Well, we did drop over $500 at TB, but that included a 2 piece outfit and dress for me and a long sleeved sun protection T for DH!

I was into making cottage cheese for a while a few years ago but then I got lazy.
