Weight 118.8. We will be home in Florida by the end of the day. Our flight doesn't leave Providence until 6:30 pm though so it will be a late night. Luckily the airport on the other end is only 10 minutes from home. We will need to take a taxi/uber. We could be home by 10:30 but that may be optimistic.

The car is on the trickle charger. I put everything I read about to repel rodents throughout the car. I have those plug in noise emitting things and a fake snake (very creepy) under the car. In the engine compartment and everywhere else I put peppermint balls made specifically for this purpose, mothballs, and dryer sheets. My car is going to need to be fully aired out after the winter. Hopefully the rodents don't like it either.

This morning we need to wash the sheets and towels and do some housecleaning. Not much in that regard as it is mostly cleaner than when we came here. It feels like a relatively organized departure. I just hope there are no delays in travel. The weather is supposed to be fine for traveling on both ends so at least that isn't a factor.

Have a moving Monday!

Agreed! We just bought the Nectar a few years ago and they are not cheap!

We can just drop off at the Swap Shop, then pick something up another time. Some good stuff too! Someone picked up a muffin tin we dropped off while we were looking around.

And all cotton is the best! Though some rayon things are nice and flowy - polyester not so much.

Greetings all

Sunny here today though I passed through some fog earlier. We are getting ready for our voyage. It's only two days but there is enough stuff to make a list. Not packed yet but that is easy since stuff is clean. I have so few items so no sweat. Gotta remember to put bottled water into the car and print out the map to mote. No GPS for me.

So I did my walking and went to the studio. Got some items ready to sit and dry. Also took care of various business matters. More to do tonight. Everything happens at once.

We got a split king bed with separate adjustable controls. It's a Costo knock off of the super expensive temperpedic ones. Its good. DH sleeps with his head elevated so he doesn't snore like Godzilla. You have to special order from costco but it's about 25% the cost of the temperpedic.

Swap Shop sounds like a good idea. Except can you give stuff and take nothing back? Thrift stores are so picky around here.

Yay Peps on the shirts. So love 100% cotton. No spandex no polyester for me.

And congrats CC on the art show scores. Bet the painter was happy to deliver. Sorry Mr. Snake. No trespassing. I think I told you all how Tesla bit the head off one in the back yard a few years ago. Ick.

Well Bonnie hope the procedure goes well. Prep is indeed the worst. Food itch is exactly what it is.

I picked up chinese take out after the studio today. Lazy me. I need to empty out my purse as it's getting heavy and I know it's due to coins in the bottom. No extra baggage needed.

Not much else. Just more laundry.

My folks bought a Sleep Number bed for their room in my house. I think it feels like what it is - an inflatable mattress. But they love it. It's their 3rd. I have a 20 year old Tempurpedic it's probably time to replace and I love it. But I hear none of the new ones are like the original I have. Hmmm.

If you have room for a King, a split mattress is kind of nice for not rolling into the middle. Maybe look for one with a 90-100 day guarantee so if you hate it, you can return it.

I'm with you! So difficult. There is no way to know if it will work without sleeping on it for a few nights. I too used to always buy very firm mattresses but need more softness now. But the foam ones do seem to make us end up in a valley in the middle - also not comfortable.

Our mattress is shot. We have the money to replace it sitting in a savings account since August. I am just so intimidated about buying a new one. I hate shopping for mattresses.
