Not much to report today except I am up a pound. Dang it! But on the flip side, I feel thinner. LOL! I am also quite sore from Monday's workout. The sore is a pleasant sore, though. Yes, I'm kind of freakish that I enjoy a certain level of soreness after a really good workout.

Interesting fish behavior. I wonder the cause?

Another progesterone test for Molly today. I'm really excited about the upcoming breeding. Though puppies arriving around Christmas and the New Year is not ideal timing. But, puppies are a blessing no matter when they come! I think Molly is going to be a fantastic Mama Dog. Fingers crossed.

Like Liz, my shot day is tomorrow. Though when I think about it, there doesn't seem to be a real reason to wait until tomorrow other than I have always taken the shot on Thursdays until last week when I took it on Wednesday. Creatures of habit are we! Who knows? Maybe I'll be wild and crazy and take it tonight and make Wednesdays my new shot day!

We are having an autumn day! It is overcast and there were light sprinkles this morning. But it is still warm enough to wear a light short sleeve shirt without a sweater. It's supposed to be in the mid 70s this afternoon.

Wunnerful Wednesday, everyone!

Weight 118.6. Shot day tomorrow.

The weather was amazingly beautiful yesterday: Sunny and breezy and not humid. I love the fall here. We did some driving around and it is amazing to see how much damage the tornadoes did but just in isolated areas. Everywhere else looks like its usual idyllic self. Unfortunately some of the area**** were low income so it is a real struggle for them to have housing and food. We are looking for a good charity to donate where we know it will get to the right people.

I finished the post-bachelorette cleanup though I have to get the sheets back on the beds. There is still some unpacking to be done though all the hanging clothes are hung. Luckily UPS brought our big shipped boxes up to our door on the 3rd floor (no elevator).

Apparently the elevator has some electrical issue caused by the hurricane and there is no estimate on when it will be fixed. Good thing we can handle the stairs. My new lanai furniture is being delivered today so they will have to carry it up. The woman at the store said no problem as they are big guys. I hope that is the case.

I am disappointed to miss water aerobics today but didn't think of that when arranging the furniture delivery. But we will take a long Justice walk. I can star****er aerobics on Saturday morning. And we have 4 bocce games starting at 2 pm today.

ETA: Weird fish behavior in the water in front of our house last night. I think it might have been caused by a large school of fish? There was a large area perhaps 20-30 feet in diameter where you could see a lot of motion on the surface, then periodically there would be this loud whoosh with lots more movement on the surface. But you actually couldn't see what it was. Very strange.

Have a walking Wednesday!

I have not made a lasagne in more years than I can remember. I will have to ask DH is he likes it. It was one of my eldest DD's favorite meals.

Orderly is definitely more communicative than HenryMeds. They haven't sent anything.

Only 35 pounds left to goal! You have really done amazing.

I got both vaccines on the same day, and had no side effects. Good luck!

156.5. Down a smidge again but could have been dehydration. I only drank a 12 oz. Gatorade and a Fairlife all day yesterday! I'm so bad at hydrating!

Went to coffee with some of my gal pals today and got my fav lavender latte. DC1 and DS2 came over for dinner. I had a frozen lasagna that I had thawed out so it was an easy peasy dinner. Always nice to see the kids.

DH and I get our Covid and Flu vaccinations tomorrow. Hope they don't put us down for a day, especially since we are going to take DS3 out for dinner on Thursday. It seems like they usually do though!

Glad you made it to Florida safe and sound Liz! Enjoy that beach and your dolphin friends!

DD, sorry about your Dad's fall. My Mom has had so many! Luckily she never broke a bone but she has knocked out teeth, broken glasses, gotten lacerations and of course had major bruising! Watching your aging parents decline is so hard!

Anne, enjoy decorating the new home. How cool that DF enjoys such things! I second the being anxious to see pics on TT!

CC, scorpions and snakes oh my! At least you have warm weather, had to break out the down puffer coat today!

Peps, sorry about the political BS at school! Less than a year to go, less than a year to go! That has been my DH's chant for his job too! Sounds like the compounding companies have at least another 60 days to produce, hoping it will continue after that.

Diane S, hope your procedure went well and you are on your way home soon!

Same old, same old here. Admin BS aplenty yesterday. We had a professional development day, and it seems that the district is listening to any Tom, Dick and Harry that has an opinion about music education in our district. Even though I have no skin in the game after this year, the lunacy of the district's stand is frustrating.

Had a great workout yesterday. My glutes are on fire today. Weight is sticking right around 223, so I'm hoping for a drop one of these days. Like CC, I think my body is getting used to the 12.5 dose. Combined with some of the school stress, busy schedule, etc... my appetite is not as quiet as I've become used to. But, c'est la vie.

Great news on the tirzepatide front! Orderly Meds sent out a notice that it's business as usual. The FDA reversed their stand on tirzepatide pending further investigation on actual brand name supply. Whoo hoo! I may start thinking about 15 mg doses from here on out. I have about 35 pounds more to lose. I'm really hoping to get down in the low 210s by the New Year. But, I'm not sure how strict I'm willing to be with myself to do that! Goals come along with decisions, don't they?

Welcome home, Liz! Dolphins!!! DD, have a wonderful time. Some Like It Hot is a favorite of mine. A true classic film gem! Sorry about your dad! Diane S., hope your procedure is over and went beautifully! CC, scorpion proof away. (I feel about rattlesnakes the way you feel about scorpions. ICK!) Ann, congrats on the new digs! Can't wait to see photos on TT!

Adios amigas!

Scorpion proofing is important. I hope it works!
