I think building and remodeling are incredibly stressful, so yes, totally normal that you are sparring a bit. Deceased DH said we would never build a house because he saw a lot of divorces after the stress of house building. Just a lot to decide, a lot of $$, and naturally the usual overrruns. These days I like to have things done when we aren't around (of course we haven't undertaken any huge projects like yours).

A week of houseguests, beautiful snow, then post-houseguest catatonia...

I didn't eat well while she was here, but we did split a lot of entrees, so hopefully that minimized some damage. Lots of chores piling up here, so I need to get on those today.

No time change here! Every plant, animal, and weather event in AZ may want to kill you, but at least we don't have to monkey with our clocks!

I binge watched Sweet Magnolias latest season on Netflix yesterday while not moving an inch. Save yourselves the "diabeetus" and avoid if you can. Sugary doesn't begin to describe it.

The dealership is coming to get my new car Wednesday to try to find and fix the rattle in the backseat. Nice that I don't have to drive it up and back especially with more rain and snow coming late this week.

Hope all is well!

Totally normal! I alway**** divorce level frustration during major home projects! We come at issues quite differently! But in the end it all works itself out rather well.

128.8 lbs.

I'm back! And glad to be back in the attic. The floors are beautiful! This week a lot gets done--the kitchen cabinets and appliances, most all the final painting, the primary bathroom. But what I'm jonesing for is the laundry!

I think the remodeling and close quarters stresses are getting to us. We're spatting over costs. As must not be unusual, we're over budget, and I occasionally freak out over $$, and he freaks out because I want to do things "on the cheap" (my words, not his), and then we make up. I mention this to invite all of you to say, "Oh, that's normal. It will pass." So let me hear you!

This week's weather will be gorgeous--sunny and in the 70s. Looking forward to it so much.

BTW, weren't Bonnie's pix in her fancy long red feathered dress amazing!?

And Ocean girl-- I'm glad to hear your tricycle finally arrived and is assembled. Lovely community you've got there.

Once I placed a refund request ($$$$) for my "lost" trike, it was delivered. It was supposed to be signed for, which would have enabled FEDex to put the box in the back of my SUV to take to the local bike shop for remaining assembly, but after the fact, I watched it being delivered on a dolly, on my Ring camera. The box was close to 150 pounds, so I thought, "How hard can it be to assemble the last 10% here ?" I unpacked the box and managed to get contents hauled into the house and organized for assembly. In WAY over my head. I shot out a quick email, asking local friends for recommendations on who I could hire to assemble it. The son of a church Life Safety Team ministry team member volunteered right away. He spent 2 hours finishing the assembly Saturday afternoon, and refused to be paid. Paying it forward to others is a THING here, especially in my church. Several months ago, I had a dining room light and dimmer switch installed, and no $ was accepted. I feel like I'm wrapped in a warm hug ! I need to increase the range of motion in my knees to pedal more effectively, but the electric assist should help.

119.4

We had a great visit with DD and SIL this weekend. Yesterday we spent the day at the beach club, including going back for dinner at night. It was a perfect Florida day weatherwise. They fly out at 10 this morning.

We have a ton of leftovers from the visit and the end of last week so we may be throwing out food before we leave Thursday. I hate having to do that! We will eat some of it tonight and I think we are going to skip going out to dinner before we go to the show tomorrow night. We are out to dinner on Wednesday, so whatever isn't eaten by then either gets frozen or tossed.

I am skipping water aerobics today to take the kids to the airport. I have a "Love the Pearls" luncheon after that. Sometime in the next couple of days I have to get serious about planning my packing. We leave at 7 am on Thursday.

Speaking of which I still hate the time change. Tough getting up and I hate it being dar****il almost 8 am. Not much I can do about it though.

Have a metronome Monday!

Thanks Diane. I did see that that could be a cause. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it.

Liz, I'm sure the visit with DD is much too short, but happy you are doing some of your and her favorite things!

129 even. Staying pretty steady at the 2 mg dose so far. Don't really feel like I'm eating any more food or feeling hungrier. My Fitness Pal still puts me around 1,000 calories.

Church and my class this morning. DH and I took a 1.5 hour nap, guess we didn't like the time change either!

Leftovers for meals today, which is kind of nice for the chef in the house. As you know, that would be me!

Still have not done the hard exercise DVD again. My excuse is that I don't want it to impact the next day's workout (i.e. too sore to get it done). I did exercise 4 days last week which is good for me! Hope to do the same this week! Debating if one of those days should be today!
