A second puppy! We are happy we have 2 but when they are gone will at most have one and maybe none (depends on how much traveling we do). My dogs are little though. I'm not sure I could do 2 big dogs!
Sorry to hear you are still having alarm issues. Hope it gets resolved soon!
Could be double the trouble OR might give Kirby what he needs to not be so clingy? So tough to predict.
Thats crazy that everything had sugar or alcohol! Though it is somewhat similar to going to our club in Florida where the bartender sometimes puts your usual preferred drink in front of you before you can say jus****er please.

12:45am call from the alarm company. Good times. The most they can shut it down so they don't get alerted is 24 hours (it will still be ringing in the house).
I haven?l't heard from the people who installed it yet. Hopefully a plan can be made today.
****tail party was kind of fun. Next time I'm putting diet coke in my purse. No non-alcoholic diet drinks or water to be seen. That's two parties in a row! I will not be caught off guard and parched again!
Taking Kirby to a well-puppy/leptospirosis shot vet visit in a few minutes. I really like this vet.
Kirby's breeder has 2 male 10 week old puppies still available. They had a 15 puppy litter and a 6 puppy one a week apart! A surprise as the previous litter was one puppy. For a few brief crazy moments I have wondered if Kirby needs a brother?
I should head out. Take care all!
Can't promise this for you, Diane S, but the more I move the less I hurt and the less I move the more I hurt. Apparently, movement literally greases up those arthritic joints.

I applaud your clothing purge! I probably got rid of 1/3 of my clothing (including the old work clothes), but I have so much that fits my size which I had bought in the 4+ years I was at this point that I still have a LOT.

Still intrigued by the device your DH has for tracking the dog. I just looked it up - it would have been useful for late DH. The subscription seems to be the bigger expense (not surprising - it is like cellphone plans).

Another exhausting day yesterday, but the house is essentially ready to show.
DS was well enough yesterday to get the rest of his stuff in storage that needed to be removed. All rooms have been declutterred and excess furniture/computer equipment removed. Only the items we are using in our last week here are visible and will be gone when we transfer to the other house this weekend.
I slept as soundly as I ever do these days last night so I feel pretty good this morning. My realtor/friend is coming at 11 to walk through and tell us what else might need to be done. DH says it feels like we are going to take an exam. Most work remaining should be minor. I feel relieved to be through this phase but then there will be the moving itself of course. Most of that will involve figuring out how to get rid of excess that nobody is taking. I am moving some furniture but most of my packing will be clothing. The other house has tiny closets so I am going to need to purchase a wardrobe to keep in the basement.
Today it is 55 years since my 17 year old eldest brother died in a car accident. I don't think about it much after all these years though it had a major impact on my life in so many ways. When my eldest daughter was dying one of the many sad feelings was knowing what it would be like for my other children who were close to the age I was when I lost my brother. I do think they gained some strength through it which helped when they lost their Dad. Strange how tragedies have both negative and positive impacts.
Not much else to report. Tirzepatide is still working well. I expect that 7.5 mg will be the highest dose I need since I am within a few pounds of goal.
Have a malacophonous Monday!

Yay, you are well into the 140's now! Good for you! And the clothes purging sounds like something I need to do! I'm looking forward to shopping from my own closet in the next month! Also looking to getting rid of WI winter clothes after this coming winter!

Porch and steps are dry and we returned the plants and other items back where they belong.
I'm taking this whole idea of minimizing clothing seriously and not finding it too hard at all. ( Letting go of all the clothes I'd grown into the last 3 years and more was a complete delight!) Then there are all those lovely outfits suitable for work. I don't need to wear something different every day now, so out with them and the shoes and coats and lingerie that goes with them.
Plans for the rest of the day- there are none. So, just kicking back for the remainder of the day.
That is unless the closets decide to cough up some more fabric....
