Taking most of the day off.
Yesterday lots of transfers made between places and just have the library left to declutter and get those things over to the other house. Tomorrow we'll call the realtor and set up an informal appraisal, then continue with the for real listing. Meanwhile, will give the place a good detailing...nooks and crannies and the such before pictures.
Poor Swanny. He's in need of a good "dethatching"; every day it's on the list and every evening deferred to the next. He about looks like a Welsh sheep dog - pretty darn scruffy.
Library or dog...choices choices....
Go ahead and kick those 90's to the curb!
The wave you're riding might be moving slowly or ripping quicker than the wind- even wavering a bit, BUT, the important thing is that you stay on the board and ride that wave home.
You're killing it; think of all these days you've strung together. And on the day you reach your goal, why, you'll want to continue stringing daily on. That's called maintenance. Carry on with PRIDE- progress realized in daily effort.

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal! BMI from 55.6 supermorbidly obese to 23.6 normal!!!!
On any given day I can or cannot eat just about anything excepting slider carbs and refined sugars. Bacon, very crispy?-yummy as are or are not roasts, steaks etc, but only just freshly cooked. Cold or reheated is a no go always.
Arrghhh?putting it simply, eating is a daily crapshoot. One day any of the good for me foods are fine and tasty- the next day, the very same food is intolerable, or I can?t eat very much at all. Some days eating is just hard and not eating feels better.
Here is the catch 22- I can easily eat sliders all day long, thousands of calories of them and it?s easy to eat. This is how I had to eat while recovering after the Whipple. Problem is if I eat that stuff regularly, like alcohol, I can?t stop - some is too much and eating it all is never enough.
Confused? Yah, me too but there?s a solution out there somewhere

We'll be spending more time in Florida in the foreseeable future :)
As DD says, 5 pounds a month is pretty good as one gets lower in weight! Congratulations!

You have shown such patience, DD! I am very patient in many aspects of life, but with weight loss, my patience is woefully lacking. You are right, 10 pounds is 10 pounds no matter the time it took!
Yeah! 5 pounds a month adds up to something wonderful over time. For me, that's the magic of this medication (and my sleeve). My loss is slow, and without the meds I wouldn't have been able to stay the course.

I am in the 180s this morning. 189.8. That 10 pounds took a week shy of 2 months... But I still have my hair, so trade-offs.
Going to dinner at a neighbor's house tonight, but otherwise no plans.
Take care all
If that house sells at asking price, you may need to increase yours! I suspect you're going to get over asking price offers, even if you don't. Sorry I'm going to miss you in Boston! We arrive Wednesday as you leave.
Plans today are pretty light. Read the paper. Laundry. Start packing. The sun is out, so maybe some outdoor time at the beach, or kayaking.
