I'm with you on the mashed potatoes - remember I mentioned that DH didn't know there was any way to make them other than from a box! Horrors!
I hope BFF gets some good answers soon. And your family picture on FB looked great - you looked very slim and handsome!

Merry Christmas!!!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO ANN!!!! Was the wedding a surprise to all except your core family? What a wonderful day to formalize the new chapter in your lives together!!!!
Christmas Eve is my family time. Today will be spent with Ron's family. BIL has specific food requests from me, so I wlll be making a zesty carrot dish (Ron's stepmom's recipe with some tweaking...) and of all things, mashed potatoes. Ron's sisters seem to be mashed potato challenged. Who makes mashed potatoes using a recipe????? LOL
LOVED having my dad over last night. He was more on than off. I was hoping my mom's special holiday dessert might trigger some memories, but it did not for him. But he did love it! BFF is still really having a hard time dealing with his irregular heart beat and needs answers. His worry is clearly affecting his mood.
214.9... So a little Christmas gift - a lower number in the ones' place (even if it is only a tenth of a pound down).
Wishing you all a wonderful day!
What exciting news! You did a good job of keeping the plans a secret!

They are ensconced and incubating at their end of the house with the space heaters running and the football on!
142.6, up just over a pound. Probably need a good poop! Lol!
Lazy day with the boys today. They wanted a "big" Mom made breakfast so I made waffles and bacon. DH thought it was a Christmas miracle. We never have breakfast meats!
Tonight we are having poke bowls (sushi) for dinner. All of the boys love it!
Time to decorate the remaining Christmas cookies and later we will play some games!
Hope you are all enjoying your celebrations!
