Ai, so aptly put: your soul gets compressed.

You're entering a HUGE transition time in life. Could that be adding to your stress? And not getting to the level of workouts you prefer. Huge stress buster! Maybe you're feeling the absence of all those Weight lifting endorphins?

Greetings all

More sun today. News report was that our rain storm a couple of days ago was an aberration. Whatever.

Yay Paula on the wedding dress. So chic. Looks great. Glad you got to participate. Yeah weddings these days have to many attributes. No thanks. At least they have limos. DH and I drove his old dodge to our wedding.

Liz driving the Navigator! Thats like driving the aircraft carrier enterprise! I hate big cars too. Our last rental was a minivan as they were out of everything. Not fun. I salute you for your energy in all these events. Pontoon boat?! Sounds like the Enterprise again.

Back to school DD. Enjoy the fact that the horizon is near. Why is it that when managers assign all this stuff there is never any thought given to how much time it will take? This used to drive me nuts when I had a real job. Tasks can only be compressed so much. Eventually it's your soul that gets compressed.

Yay for Montgomery County goals Devon. It's a BFD to be prez of the national airedale club. Be prepared to listen to *****ing but you know that. Enjoy sorting the puppies. Fun.

CC a diet coke torpedo!! What a mess. But if it had sugar you would have an entire ant hill. Glad you escaped the party. Hope your dad continues to improve.

Little news here. After the studio I stopped at the natural food store for a turkey wrap for dinner. They didn't have much else that looked good. Yeah Paula I make hamburgers often because DH things they are excellent cusine and I just don't like to cook anymore. so hamburgers are on pan and 10 minutes.

Still contemplating the linen closet. And I have a bunch of gallery finance chores to do this week. Ditto studio board. Insurance, taxes etc. Grown up work.

Good grief, Lizanne! I'm so very sorry for your husband and you. Is there anything at all we can do to ease your stress?

Have you ever noticed that most of those people like your DH who don't really care about eating are thin? Such a ******! However, I am one who will get on "kicks". I can eat the same lunch for a week. Breakfast, is always routine. Lately it has been a Quest bar and an apple. Dinner is where I need the variety. Luckily, tirzepatide has taken away a lot of that noise.

The stress and unease I have felt all week still is in residence. Yesterday was pretty bad. I am unsure why, other than I spent a lot of money the day before and I felt like my three hours commuting to a dog club meeting was a waste because only 8 people showed up. But those aren't generally reasons for me to be in the doldrums. I was even stressing over the interior set up of the new show mobile. UGH....

On the brighter side, my weight is down. I have only 1.1 pounds to be in a new "decade". I now am also down 50 pounds from that high in December. That is a significant accomplishment. My want now is to be down 6 pounds by the first weekend in October. I think that is doable. That weekend is the big dog show weekend in Pennsylvania (Montgomery County KC for Diane S.) I will be in front of a lot of people that weekend because I am stepping up to become president of the Airedale Terrier Club of America. Yes, condolences are in order, I believe. LOL

Fun activity today is puppy evaluations. Buster's first litter turn 8 weeks old tomorrow, so it's time to look at show potential. I'm hoping one or two of the pups has Buster's fantastic presence. Buster is one of those dogs that catches the eye and holds it. Judges find themselves drawn to him. Well, at least that is the feedback I was given the few times he was shown. Buster will step back in the ring in late September.

I need to exercise more. I need to make that a priority. I'm feeling flabby and saggy. And OMG! I for the first time noticed crepey skin! ACK.... I'd rather have wrinkles! LOL! I know I should wear my skin with pride, but the first time seeing crepey skin on myself was a bit of a shocker. Ain't no hiding from that, now is there.

The way all you ladies clean there is absolutely no way I could allow you to visit me in my doggy dirtied little house. I'm looking at walls that need washing, the dusting that needs to happen, and a dining room table on which we cannot eat. You all amaze me with your dedication to keeping a beautiful house. I have been that way in the past, but really the last 10 years I have let it go. Part of it is Ron is a piler and a pack rat and I just gave up. But not only did I give up, I hopped on board!

Clearly, I am rambling.... I leave you all with best wishes for a wonderful, wonderful Sunday. Liz, you must let us know how many of your girlies were hungover this fine Sunday! That's one nice thing about being older... thinking ahead to tomorrow... I can remember some doozies of a hangover. YUCK! See... rambling....

I agree, even going to Prom has layers of complexity. We have young friends who live beautifully curated lives. It looks exhausting. I never see a photo of them that isn't carefully composed.
