Peps, I am going to walk my daughter down the aisle (DS is performing the ceremony)! Very, very happy about doing that. I believe both DS and I are doing the Father/daughter dance with her.

Official weight (I record once a week): 119.4 - weird how I fluctuate so much some weeks after being totally flat during others. Over the last week I have gone from 120 down to 118, now back up again.
8 days to DD's wedding so 1 week to rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. I need to pay the BIG bill for the reception today. That's going to be painful. I close on the house 3 weeks from today. Feels like another whole new chapter.
I am working on coming up with a short toast for DD and her new husband. I'm not a humorous person so I can't do a joking one but I hope to make it short and sweet. I felt like I had a great one while I was driving my car the other day but unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce it yet...
SIL and I did the pre-work for the wedding centerpieces yesterday. I think they came out pretty good - will put the video up on TT. Afterwards, SIL stayed for dinner with DH and eldest DD. I bought this amazing chicken pie from a local pie shop and made homemade mashed potatoes and broccoli. I stress homemade because DH thought everyone just used boxed potatoes for mashed - LOL!
Nothing on the calendar for today which feels really good. There is a small chance that soon-to-be-married DD and her DF will come down for the night but I doubt it. We may go to DH's house as he is working on preparing it for the move-in of my stuff.

Your Dad is at the point where you have to start to see some humor in the interchanges because if you don't it is all so sad. Reminds me of the "chocolate wars", when deceased DH accused his sister and me of stealing his fudge and he ate a whole box of it at one time to keep us from getting at it.

In my previous moves, I would be ditching stuff as I unpacked because I didn't have time to sort when I packed. I'm hoping to mostly avoid that this time by pre-sorting in every closet and cabinet. We shall see how successful I am...
