Last full day at my house before we go to DH's while the house is being sold. Seems like it came fast!
Yesterday was a beautiful beach day which I'd love to repeat today but probably too much to do here. Some last prettifying of the house and packing for the move to DH's home and our 1 week Florida trip. My friend who said he would paint the cupola is supposed to come this morning (fingers crossed) and BIL is supposed to come get his things this afternoon. DH is going to do a couple of things here, take a load to his house, then return to help pack up and prepare for the photographer tomorrow morning.
I'm actually trying to eat a little more as my larger than expected weight loss last week surprised me. I hate the idea of tracking since this is the first time I have lost weight not doing it and it felt so freeing. But I don't want to lose too much weight. Still seems weird to have to worry about that - the only other time in my life when I was feeling that way was after VSG. Even 4 years ago when I lost regain, I was tracking calories and fighting urges to eat all the time. So stopping the loss wasn't a concern.
Time to start the daily work list. It will be like a vacation being away from the house for the next few weeks. Have a mabsoot Monday.

Well, the month ended at 11.5 lbs! Didn't make the 12 but will be there very soon!
I'm exhausted from the Art Fair today. It was very hot and humid today. Thank Goodness I packed a lot of beverages to stay hydrated! The heat made it hard to eat today. Protein bar for breakfast, iced coffee with protein shake in it as creamer, yogurt and cheese stick for lunch and one chicken taco with a few chips scooped in refried beans for dinner.
The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute is spread all over that area. Lots of scientists working and studying there.

Sounds like you are making great progress too.

Greetings all
Overcast today but I find it refreshing. I spent a little time at the studio and made a few things. Looking forward to kiln day tomorrow.
Liz hmmmm sounds like your house will go fast. Hope cupola man shows. Not an easy task. What a lot you have completed.
You too Bonnie150. Good idea to get the new house before listing the old. Avoids the tidy up routine when showing a house you still live in. I used to put a pan of cinnamon and cloves on the stove to boil before lookers came. Theoretically covered dog smell.
CC you are a rock star! So much weight lost. Good on you. And everyone. May these extra pounds be forever vanished from the universe.
Hamburgers here last night and again tonight. New plan needed after that. DH and I split an ear of sweet corn which is just the right amount. Great this time of year.
The sweet peas are almost there. At least one pot it. The other seemed to have self destructed. Could be snails.

Taking most of the day off.
Yesterday lots of transfers made between places and just have the library left to declutter and get those things over to the other house. Tomorrow we'll call the realtor and set up an informal appraisal, then continue with the for real listing. Meanwhile, will give the place a good detailing...nooks and crannies and the such before pictures.
Poor Swanny. He's in need of a good "dethatching"; every day it's on the list and every evening deferred to the next. He about looks like a Welsh sheep dog - pretty darn scruffy.
Library or dog...choices choices....
Go ahead and kick those 90's to the curb!
The wave you're riding might be moving slowly or ripping quicker than the wind- even wavering a bit, BUT, the important thing is that you stay on the board and ride that wave home.
You're killing it; think of all these days you've strung together. And on the day you reach your goal, why, you'll want to continue stringing daily on. That's called maintenance. Carry on with PRIDE- progress realized in daily effort.

On any given day I can or cannot eat just about anything excepting slider carbs and refined sugars. Bacon, very crispy?-yummy as are or are not roasts, steaks etc, but only just freshly cooked. Cold or reheated is a no go always.
Arrghhh?putting it simply, eating is a daily crapshoot. One day any of the good for me foods are fine and tasty- the next day, the very same food is intolerable, or I can?t eat very much at all. Some days eating is just hard and not eating feels better.
Here is the catch 22- I can easily eat sliders all day long, thousands of calories of them and it?s easy to eat. This is how I had to eat while recovering after the Whipple. Problem is if I eat that stuff regularly, like alcohol, I can?t stop - some is too much and eating it all is never enough.
Confused? Yah, me too but there?s a solution out there somewhere
