It is pouring outside! DH and I were going to play golf this afternoon but unless it dries out early I don't see that happening. Hopefully it lets up enough to get Justice out. He is so frightened of being in heavy rain.
The new recipe I tried yesterday was great! The portions seemed a little small though so I might do 1.5 times the recipe for 4 servings next time:
DH really liked it so it is a keeper. Easy to make. We had broccoli with it.
My sinuses are doing what they usually do with a sinus infection: the over-the-counter steroid spray will take a few days to make it recede but it should be much better by the time we fly home for spring cleanup weekend. I was able to make it to water aerobics yesterday as well as walking Justice beforehand.
Have a tidy Tuesday!

Thanks, DD! It messes with your mind when someone is so off in their interpretation of the facts and so irrational. Makes you think you're losing your mind, so I appreciate the validation!
I'm sorry you have to deal with this. It just stinks. You are definitely a good friend, and she is wrong.
Soon you are going to have premier vision!

In that txt you were definitely asking if you could call her (or her call you). She is just angry at everyone right now. Amazing how that can happen to some parents when kids (even adult ones) are being protected (rightly or not).

Greetings all
It is cloudy today but not raining. I went to the studio first today and made a few days. I was considering gym hookey but went there in the end. Listened to Taylor Swift and then Rubber Soul. DH is watching one of his weird mystery shows - the narrator keeps saying "orientated" GGGGGAAAAAACCCKKK
Well Liz hope the cold passes soon. No fun.
Peps congrats on the new low. Enjoy the last teaching days but you won't look back once you retire. Agreed. Small "bites" of the tasks works well. GL at the specialty.
Hamburger stroganoff. We used to have that when we were kids The kind with a can of mushroom soup in it. Bet yours is better.
DD more trips! Enjoy. Nice that your former student stopped in.
CC sounds like your friend should be former friend. Drama? No thanks.
Not much else. Onward with the parade of eye drops.

I finally talked to my neighbor. She called me a "bad friend" because instead of calling her, I texted this: "I am SO sorry, Can we talk when you're free?" She ignored me for 2 and a half days after that. This apparently didn't meet her standards of reaching out. I should have called her or come by and she expected better from me. Anyone who knows me knows I never call anyone! Ever! I felt like I was asking her if I could call her. I think she's being ridiculous. Sigh. I'm too old for this level of hairsplitting and think she is just looking for any reason to blame anyone but herself. She's suing the board too. Good times.
I got 6 more plants in the ground. 12 more to go of 27. I think I got carried away. Hopefully many of them live.
That's all from me in crazy town!
I hope your Etsy webinar brought you some new ideas for marketing. And I agree, hamburger stroganoff sounds delicious.
I'm going to have to up my cooking game one day. That WW recipe you're going to try today sounds intriguing Liz. Let us know what you think.
Peps, I too will miss the kid energy. I had an observation today, and the coach noted how happy the kids and I were to see each other. It's so rewarding when we reach the point that we are a community. Then one of my students who had my class 2 years ago stopped by and told me, I miss this room. He noticed a mug he gave me was on my microwave, and he said, you still use it? When I said yes, it was perfect for reheating soup, he was pleased. It's these kind of interactions that make the effort feel so worthwhile.
We had a nice dinner with our friends (from back in the college days), and are tentatively planning a trip to the Finger Lakes Region in Upstate New York this summer to visit some wineries. With all the travel we have planned, I might need to consider subbing next year for some extra cash!
Tonight's exciting plans include complaining about the stock market and watching the final episode of White Lotus. It's been pretty off the rails, so I'm looking forward to how they wrap it all up.
