Weight 119.8 (down 1 pound - why I don't know).

The house is sold. Everything went incredibly smoothly. We had to go pick up the check issued by the realtor for the deposit so I could put it in the bank before we leave for Florida. We met my SIL for an early dinner at the restaurant on the water where we had our Wedding party 2 years ago.

Still waiting to hear a report from one Florida friend. Everyone else has checked in and their homes were undamaged. Some of the tornado damage in the town where we live was startling including a condo building with the roof ripped off and houses flattened. Luckily no reports of people hurt there, though the Spanish Lakes development in Fort Pierce where 6 people were killed is just south of us. The power in our building keeps going off and on. I hope that stabilizes by Monday. DS is on his way to Orlando this morning for the convention he is working at next week. Amazing how business continues.

Not much in the agenda for the weekend as we are essentially packed. The biggest initiative will be a trip to the dump tomorrow. The weather today is supposed to be warmer so we may wait for our long walk on the beach until this afternoon.

Have a super Saturday!

I hope your craft show ends up being worth your time!

My former beagle got into chocolate once. I called the vet and they said the amount required to make them sick was rather large (a large bag of M&Ms was way under the amount).

I'm good with the GPS, but have the worse sense of direction ever. I had to have instructions on paper before GPS too and had a few times in my life when I got so lost that I never thought I'd find a way to familiar territory. Panic invoking.

158.3. Down a bit!

Busy last few days. Came home from our Door County trip a bit early. DC1 was watching the pups and thought they got into their chocolate. Crisis averted I guess because neither of them showed symptoms of toxicity.

Spent yesterday and today getting ready for a craft show I'm doing tomorrow. I'm afraid it might be a bust. Only 12 vendors (a bunch dropped out last minute) and it doesn't look like they advertised it very well. At least some of the other vendors seemed interested in my stuff during set up!

Good luck on the negotiations! With your smarts and wit and lawyer skills, I bet you can win him over.

Definitely still hot here. The NWS was calling it Hotober...
