Lucky puppy. I bet like Justice he will come out of his shell as he feels loved and safe.

Speaking of "traumas", you may have seen my Mom commenting about the terrible loss of her Florida house in response to my light hearted post of loving sun and water. The subtext here is she is jealous when she preceives me as having something she doesn't. Never mind she had the great good fortune to retire at 60 and enjoy owning a sweet little house in Florida for 20 years and I am spending 6 days at a mid range resort and returning to my job. She cannot be happy for me, or if she can for a few minutes, she cannot sustain it. This happened my entire life, always trying to dull my shine. To add insult to injury, said house was promised to me multiple times (while DB will inherit the lakehome which is worth 6 times the value), but instead they sold the house and gave the cash to my nephew. They wouldn't even let me buy it, they sold it without telling me. Geeze Louise, just let me enjoy my six days in peace. Sigh. Rant over, thanks for listening.
It's surprising what works it's way to the surface sometimes. I feel lime I have to pick it up, look at it from a few angles, my, my, what do we have here, and how do you fit in with the other "things"?
They call the dog "Milkshake".
Food find: frozen shrimp wonton soup. Single serving. 140 calories. Pretty good. ds
131.2, essentially the same. I think I'm back into my skinny, skinny clothes. Was going to wear a medium pant to church this morning and they were falling off me! Time to gather what is left in the basement and see what fits and what stuff I have upstairs that I need to store back downstairs or donate.
My character development class is becoming more like a group therapy class as we did deep into our childhood hurts/trauma. Brought some stuff up for me today that I didn't even realize was there. Guess one is never too old to try and work through their stuff.
I think I finished my tropical wall. Added a little surfboard, centered the biggest picture more and added some starfish, a sand dollar and a shell to the wall. DH loves it and I'm pretty pleased with it as well.
Yay for the new golf clubs and better play Liz. We are early eaters (usually around 5ish, always have been). We also go to sleep early, usually by 9. I can't imagine eating at 7 or 8 at night!
DD, glad you are getting the R&R you deserve! Hope the sun appears some more so you can get some vitamin D!
Diane, your day sounds busy! Again, the consistency with the treadmill is impressive. I took yesterday and today off but plan to return to the beast tomorrow!
Awww, happy for the puppy who was living a nightmare and has now won the lottery.
Naw, that was last year. This year is your milestone, though!
