Funerals make me think, how nice it would be for the person being celebrated to hear all the lovely things being said about them. A good reminder to tell people how you feel about them while they are alive.
I am irked this morning. One of my pet peeves is people being late. My neighbor asked if I would take her and her son to Costco today. he's a chef and is catering a good friend of hers' celebration of life tomorrow. I of course said yes. The original plan was to leave at 10, but she called me yesterday and asked if we could leave at 9. I am absolutely not a morning person, which my friend knows, but trying to be accommodating, I said okay. At 5 minutes to 9, she texts that her son is not ready and he's going to be another hour so we should just leave at the original 10 o'clock time. Seriously? I would have loved to stay in bed an extra hour this morning. I was exhausted and had to pry myself out! I feel like if someone is doing you a huge favor like driving you an hour and a half each way to Costco, you do your darndest to be ready at the time agreed upon! 
I don't want her to feel bad, but I want to say something as a lesson to her 27-year-old son who should know better... Here endeth my daily rant.
Hmm, it seems all I had in my brain was my rant! If I think of anything else, I'll let you know... take care all!
Interesting about your children. I just realized that my kids are also not afraid of the dentist unlike me and my brother.

I love Aquaphor too but best used at night as it does stay a bit greasy on hands. I use it for my very dry feet and my hands.

I love my heated throw (so does Justice)!
I kept counting myself as 5'4" for a long time but I finally succumbed to admitting that I am only 5'3" now.

Quick post - it is almost 4:30 am and I have to walk to the airport shortly.
Yesterday was emotional but good. Amazing how many lives my BIL touched and how many counted him as a family member in addition to our own. Lots of stories about his fabled chocolate chip cookies. And good family time. But it kept feeling like BIL should be there with us. Different from deceased DH's funeral as he had already left us way before. My SIL and remaining 2 BILs are having a hard time with the loss of another sibling. I stayed with SIL and eldest daughter for an extra couple of hours afterwards having a glass of wine and talking. At the hotel by 8 and asleep by 9 (though I woke up at midnight a couple of hours). Good thing I had a leftover 1/2 sandwich from the night before as there was no restaurant at the hotel.
Off to walk through the freezing cold. I may add more from the airport. Update: I am sitting at the gate at 5:15. We take off at 6 (hopefully) and should be back in Florida between 9-9:15.

Some somber moments today. I hope Liz is safely back to the hotel and found solace with family today. Peps comfort as you say goodbye to your beloved aunt.
A lot of shared dental trauma. Is it our age? Was dental care more brutal in the day. I have a friend who was literally strapped down in the dentist chair as a kid. She cannot even talk about teeth related things. Our family dentist is the best, kind, careful, skilled. My children think about dental care differently than I do, thanks to him.
Cold,cold here. -4 this morning. We store our precious diet coke in the garage. We have it wrapped in blankets so it won't explode.
2nd graders.... How can they even know such things? Your poor student who left school, your poor students who are being taught hate...
