I wish you well for your visit to your parents house. Hopefully your Mom will be on her best behavior!
Good for you! I should do more consignment shop shopping. Florida has some nice ones!

About in the middle of my range and happy with the "number", but continued concern re the typical foods I'm consuming. It's been mentioned more than a few times (thanks to Devon and others) that calories are not the same, and relying on the unhealthy types really do process differently- and slider's are not only wasteful but can also be harmful. Transforming knowing into doing is proving difficult at the moment.
Sunny but cool today and no plans other than what might occur in the moment. Have deep cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms floors and de calcified the coffee pot. Swann is due for continued grooming on the porch (3 days running now) looking less and less the scruffy unkempt mutt and more like the dignified, handsome Welshie he is.
Grandkiddo due for a visit today and as soon as I pull kitchen and bathrooms together, will be in the "art" room till she arrives.
Enjoy the day!
What a great idea to swap clothing items periodically! I wish I had a clothing twin!

Yeah March!! Welcome. Beach sounds wonderful Liz. Is DH able to relax in a lounger at the beach? Back in the day, DH could go to the pool or the beach with me for about an hour, and then he would get restless. But now he can stay for awhile. I have always had the gift of lounging, and with a book in hand, can plant myself for hours.
Congratulations Paula on seeing your number after all your hard work. I've experienced the unexpected drop also after eating more or something I thought wasn't optimal. I swear eating bacon several days in a row is it results in a downward trend on the scale.
Today we are driving to m parents house to celebrate my Dads birthday. I am bringing a hot dish, and my SIL is bringing the cake. Due to illnesses in both houses at different times, I haven't seen them since January. The time has come.
For a long time, I have been troubled by the ethics of my fast fashion addiction. I don't use Temu, but I buy a lot of things from Amazon. I've decided to go on a clothes from Amazon fast until at least June. I'll still shop in brick and mortar stores, which undoubtedly also sell fast fashion, but one step at a time. I'm going to explore the wonders of Poshmark, and hopefully get back to checking out consignment and thrift shops first when I feel like I need a little something new. And now that DD and I are the same size again, we can trade clothes. We've done that before. One of us will have custody of an item, use it for a few months, and then the original owner gets it back.
Tomorrow we have theater tickets to a Midsummer Nights Dream. Looking forward to how the Guthrie Theater will stage it this time.
My previous Chihuahua was a 1/2 miler LOL. Though she did stretch it a bit for a short while during the summer when we had Justice and Chiquita at the same time (competitive nature).
Congratulations on hitting goal! Sometimes I think our bodies hold onto weight because they think we are starving so that when a few extra calories go in it relaxes and lets go of the fat it has been holding onto. Weird but sometimes seems that way.

129.4, finally hit goal (at least for today)! My predictions for an uptick were wrong. I'm wondering what my caloric intake should be now that I'm in maintenance. I think I will try to increase it by 100 calories for a bit and see where that puts me. I am burning a bit more through exercise as well.
Pizza was good last night. I had 2 slices of very thin pizza with just mushrooms, sauce and cheese. My favorite pizza (boring, I know). I ended up going to a drag show with DC1 at a bar they frequent. It was pretty fun. 1 Moscow Mule was consumed!
Today is sunny but chilly. Not sure what is on my agenda for today. Might apply for another Art Fair this summer. I've already applied for 4 others.
I think I will thaw out the frozen lasagna to make for dinner tonight. Nice and easy!
Wish I was having a beach day like Liz! Even a Justice walk (er, I mean Emma and Bella) sounds appealing! I'm impressed that Justice can do a 3-4 mile walk. I think our dogs would be done after a mile or so. Ben and I would take them on longer walks when they were younger and after a certain point they would just refuse to continue and we would have to carry them back home!
