Liz, the speed with which you're purging is inspiring. And I think (because I'm not that decisive), unusual. I agonize so much over every white teeshirt.
I also still worry about discarding clothes that are a little bit too big for me, because I always want to have something to wear when I regain 5-10 pounds.
Will I EVER NOT regain weight?! That's not just a rhetorical question.

Not much house progress yesterday as we had quite a few errands to do including getting beach stickers for my town and DH's for the family members. One front porch was power washed and I went through my backup closet and got rid of a lot of clothing. There is still a LOT there. I am going to have to get a fairly large portable closet to put into the basement of DH's home when I move. Possibly I will pare more at that point but I already had 5 bags of stuff. Some of it made me shake my head: 3 black dresses which were essentially the same style? Late this afternoon I will either attack my main closet or start on the pain cans and other possibly hazardous materials downstairs. Not fun but necessary. The dumpster comes tomorrow and I am getting a storage unit at the end of the week to start moving DS's excess stuff out. We have a donation pickup scheduled for July 12, but will do one or two drop offs of things that organization won't take prior to that. A lot of work still!
Good news though! DS has an apartment. I think he will like it and is very excited that his cat will have a nice view of the woods out the window LOL. We may have to juggle where he is going to live just prior to his move as I may be ready to put the house on the market before his early August move date.
I have a PT session today. The last one was almost 4 weeks ago before I went to Aruba. I did my PT every day while I was gone with the exception of travel days and snorkel days. I know I have made progress but it will be interesting to know if I am as far along as I should be. After that I might spend some time at the beach before my work on the house. It is supposed to be a beautiful day.
Have a torsible Tuesday!

Talk about being a whirlwind! Glad the med seems to be well tolerated. If you are a stress eater (like many of us), you have certainly giving it a real test over the last week.

Speaking of energy ... next bday (in December) I'll turn 79. That number sounds so bizarre. I certainly don't feel or move like I imagined decades ago I'd be feeling and moving at this age. To be clear, I feel and move really well.
I do know how very, very fortunate and privileged I am to be so healthy and mobile at this age. So much of our late-in-life has to do with our genetic inheritances.
I also know how quickly at this phase of life (which has many phases) one's self-satisfaction in feeling and acting younger than one's contemporaries can be crushed by a life altering diagnosis or an accident.
But until then I'll follow my doctor's advice and "Just keep moving!"

You certainly have a lot more energy than I do. I noticed how fit you looked in your FB pictures.

Thank you, CC! I am skimming that article, and it is one heck of a roundup about so many anti-inflammatory benefits delivered by these drugs for scores of ailments caused or contributed to by our current-day processed foods and lifestyles.
The more I learn about these drugs the more I wish I could live another 100 years just to see how the medical/pharmaceutical industries are going to change. I also think that a huge contributor to those future changes will be the need to reduce society's health care costs.

I have truly enjoyed living here all these years, and there will be much I will miss.
