Couldn't your fatigue be a result of the increased dose of Tirzepetide? But I hear ya on the aches and pains! You and DH are doing well, as you probably know most people your ages (and younger) cannot do much physically. I saw so much of that when I was working in rehab. And there there would be the random 88 or 92 year old that was in great physical shape, still doing push ups and sit ups and on their treadmill daily before hitting 9 holes of golf!

It's been amazing to read about how much you've accomplished. It took me over a year to get my house cleaned up and ready to list! Be kind to yourself. I know the allure of having it done well before your deadline is strong, but you gave yourself that amount of time for a reason! There are no extra points for reaching the finish line well ahead of schedule with a broken body.

I found out why I was so tired, I was getting a cold! Which I entirely blame on karma having bragged to my friend who has covid for the umpteenth time that I still haven't had it and secondly I never get sick. It's not a bad one, just post nasal drip with that "chubby uvula" feeling so far and being tired.

Kirby didn't sleep on my bed for the first time in ages (this bed I think is too high - yay!) and let me sleep until 8:45! Unheard of.

My scale here is the same maker, but different model as my scale in AZ. So it seems in line with the one at home. Today was 192.2 - 40 pounds down!

It's raining again today.

My soup was delicious and easy. Here?s the recipe:

Creamy Chicken Enchilada Soup

PREP TIME: 5 min
COOK TIME: 25 min
SERVINGS: 8

INGREDIENTS
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Half a large onion (chopped)
- 1 garlic clove
- 10 ounce red enchilada sauce (1 can)
- 8 ounce Reduced fat cream cheese
- 14 ounce diced fire roasted tomatoes (1 can)
- 14 ounce black beans (1 can, drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup frozen corn kernels
- 2.5 cup chicken stock
- 4oz mild hatch green chilies (1 can)
- 2 cups chopped cooked chicken breasts (sprinkle liberally with garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, and pepper on both sides, bake 400 for 20 minutes, then chop)
- 1 Avocado diced for topping
- Monterrey jack cheese for topping

PREPARATION STEPS
1. Season and bake chicken breasts at 400 for 20 min.

2. Heat the olive oil in a Dutch oven or soup pot, over medium heat. Add the onion and cook for about 5 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent. Add garlic and cook for a minute.

3. Add the enchilada sauce, green chilies, tomatoes, black beans, corn, chicken broth. Bring to a boil.

4. Add the chopped chicken breast. Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add cream cheese in chunks. Stir until the cream cheese has completely melted. Don?t boil at this point because the cream cheese could curdle. If you find the soup is too thick, add a bit more chicken broth.

5. Remove from heat and top with Monterey Jack cheese and avocados before serving with tortilla chips.

Have a great day, all!

So tired after a bad night of sleep. I was the energizer bunny on Thursday almost feeling like I did before this shoulder thing started over a year ago but yesterday I crashed. We ran around before lunchtime getting supplies for house freshening, then did some more work. I finished a remaining cabinet and closet that I had forgotten about plus a bit in the garage and then I completely lost energy. Last night it seemed like every muscle and joint in my body hurt almost as if I had the flu but I had no fever or other symptoms. I also had a spasm in one neck muscle. I finally got up at 4 and took some naproxen which has calmed things down but now I will have to struggle with lack of sleep.

My goal today if I can manage it is to clean the furnace room and start on the garage. We need to pull down the insulation in one basement storage room and replace it with the new stuff we bought yesterday but I'm really afraid of doing work overhead with a healing shoulder and another borderline one so that may all have to be done by DH. DH gets no benefit from me selling the house but he has been an amazing help. He is quite the workhorse though like me ends up with lots of aches and pains afterwards. I can't even imagine doing this work without him.

Tonight is supposed to be date night - I expect it will be an early one. I am going to try and stop the work in the house early enough to be okay for going out.

Probably somewhat healthier eating tonight as we are going to a fish place. My increased dose of 7.5 mg tirzepatide this weekend did seem to work in bringing my appetite back down but I did have a slice of pizza last night. Only one though, then I was full.

Time to get cracking on something. Have a salutiferous Saturday!

Glad you made it there safely! I bet Kirby will love it in Michigan.

Lake MI is only 65 miles across at this point, so yes!

You can pick lower calorie meals. This one isn't for sure!

I am so so tired! I was tired yesterday I think from the anxiety of leaving for a few months and travel. And the air here is so clean and it's so quiet that it pretty much knocks me out. But then Kirby was very restless last night, even bringing me toys to play with at three in the morning and barking at the sprinklers at four. So I'm a bit of a zombie today.

it's gray and rainy here so I really didn't do anything today except some boxes I had delivered and clean the coffee maker. My 10 mg came today so that was much faster than the nine days they quoted.

I ended up fessing up to my folks about being on Zepbound because my package was delivered today. They really didn't have much to say about it, but at least there were no concerns.

tonight I'm making a creamy chicken enchilada soup. I think planning dinners that keep me low on calories and high on protein and also satisfy my dad while not giving him too much protein (kidney) will be interesting. When I by myself, I don't eat normal dinners. I have small, fairly unbalanced snack like meals. But it works for me.

192.8 today, but also a change in scales so who knows. Hope everyone is doing well! My iPad is about to die so I ought to hit send. take care!
