I know. I feel a little faint too, even though it's just a fantasy.

I have a single annual visit with my PCP. For the record, he's never asked me to repeat words he uttered earlier during the appointment.

The last few years I've asked him a lot of questions about what I can expect during my upcoming 80s.

The number of times the f-word has come out of my mouth today and yesterday would have you clutching your collective pearls. My AZ fire alarm went off again this morning so it's not the batteries... of course it's not that easy! I've texted the A/v people who put it in and am waiting to text the house watcher since at this point it's 6am on a Sunday and there is nothing she can do right now. I'm so annoyed!!

This morning was Sunday breakfast where my dad makes pancakes and bacon. I had bacon and eggs. But the bacon was not as cooked as I like it so that turned me off and the egg texture got to me so I stopped that too. Funny how I have felt little effect from the upped shot this week (Wednesday shot day****il today. We had pizza last night and I didn't struggle at all. Weight is still slightly elevated at 193.

Today aside from sorting the alarm situation, I might put baked beans on the smoker. We are going to a ****tail party tonight. And it's a beautiful sunny day finally so some sitting outside would be nice. And my house is messy, so that would be a good thing to tackle.

Anyway, hope you all have a nice day!

I think it is Sunday. Not sure again because there is no breakfast out and no DH stating that the bus leaves at 7:30. DH and the bus went golfing.

DS was sick all day yesterday but no COVID. DH and I packed more of DS's things and brought a load of packed stuff to the storage unit. All that remains to be taken care of before my realtor/friend comes tomorrow to advise on anything remaining is a few items DS says he is going to sell and a room full of clothing and work clutter. Very difficult for me to take care of that so he better feel well enough to do it today.

Date night was good. We did go to the restaurant on the marina. It was foggy and a bit windy but warm so we were comfortable on an outdoor patio with plastic shields on the sides. My scallops were quite good.

We have finalized plans for our next trip in March during the week of my 70th birthday/our 3rd anniversary. We are chartering a small boat in the Caribbean with some Florida friends which comes with a captain and chef. The guys are planning the itinerary including visits to some of these: Beach Bars Our last trip was the cruise in November so we will have skipped an entire year of traveling. Next year may make up for it since we will probably visit DH's son and wife in Poland next fall. This year was busy enough with shoulder surgery, moving, and a wedding.

Time to take Justice out and think about what to attack around here. DS just got up and feels much better thank goodness.

Have a sublunary Sunday!

I think the cost from the pharmaceutical companies has to go down before insurance companies cover the meds - otherwise insurance costs will have to go up.

Greetings all

Sunny and warm here again. 73 degrees Feels like more. I went to the studio to rescue some items I left out before they are too dry. Saved. hardly anybody there. All at the beach I bet. Its warm enough today that I sort of wish I owned a pair of shorts!

CC what a **** show morning for you! Alarms never go off at 1 pm. Always at some hideous hour. Glad you have completed all your events.

Liz sorry DS is sick. Disappointed to hear that new covid is going around. I think there might be another shot this fall which I will get. Friend just came back from France and thinks she caught it on the airplane. More reason to stay home.

Bonnie biscuits and gravy is so Kansas! I remember as soon as one crossed the border from Nebraska into Kansas they automatically appeared on menus. Love it. Years ago DH and I used to go to this sort of camp in the Ozarks. There was always two kinds of gravy at each meal. (white and brown for those of you who do not know their gravies).

Lizanne glad the party went well. Whew bet you are glad thats finished.

Thank you all for being trizepitide guinea pigs! Maybe someday this little piggy will get some. But that would require weighing...

Watched the rest of Griselda. Then had to do something light hearted like "Acapulco". Cute show.

Ann you are on to something. I wear the same few things all the time. Drawers are full of stuff that "too tight" "ugly" "uncomfortable" "ratty looking" "fits wrong" "no pockets" "too dressy" "icky fabric" and on and on. Why don't I just throw it away? Because as my hippie friends say "Where's away?"

Found some taccitos in the freezer for last night. Not good. They need to go to "away".
