18 lbs. lost! Can I get an even 20? Going once, going twice!

Nice mild day weather wise. Did a little cleaning this morning and just trying to figure out what to do this afternoon!

Finally got a better night's sleep. Both dogs sleep with us (both on my side) and even though we have a king sized bed, I'm always fighting for space. I can't even turn from side to side because of dogs and husband in the way! Well, I decided to buy a big tufted bench for the end of the bed and I put the dog beds on that bench and problem solved! I only had to put one dog back into her bed once and I had so much room for my legs to move around. It was divine! DH complained that he got cold because I was so far away! Too bad! This menopausal hot box loved it!

Easy dinner tonight - hot ham and Swiss on a croissant with a little honey mustard sauce. Oven baked to make the croissant extra crispy!

Taking a short break. Good luck with the appraisal; I'm sure that beautiful home will appraise for full value. Loving your plans for new furniture (I have no problem with supporting others in spending money on pretties, so...) Yah, do it! On our end, I'm thinking kitchen upgrades and window treatments; Kurt is all about infrastructure improvements. A compromise is in order, and I've proposed we do both!

Today is boxing up the donations in basement. And, I've totally forgotten about the army of garden vegetables, relishes, etc setting all in rows on the canning shelves.

Bout time to have that terrific Tuesday toting green beans up the stairs. Upside is I will get at least a bizillion terrific steps in today!

Feeling virtuous as I sip my fair life protein shake whirled with ice and an over ripe banana. And I had steak for dinner and will have leftovers today. Back on the protein wagon.

No specific plans today except to go workout. It's sunny this morning, still cool but should at least get into the 70s. Workout, some gardening , some reading, perhaps a Costco run. Relaxed day.

Nothing to fix is frosting on the cupcake, for sure.

Quick as a bunny. House listed on a Wednesday and we sent multiple offers back for their best and highest Thursday night, accepted buyer Friday, and here we are. The total turnaround from list to closing will be around 23 days.

Quick post: Lots to do as the appraiser for the buyer's mortgage is coming this morning and I have to leave for PT immediately after. Like with the inspection, I am hoping it appraises for full value so there won't be any issues with that for the buyers. They were preapproved for the full amount but if the appraisal is low there could be problems. Like Miss150, I am hoping to use some of the money above asking price to move up the timing on replacing furniture in the Florida place. I would really like to replace the lanai furniture with high quality furniture- we spend almost all our time out there, and it is really an extension of the house because it can be entirely closed up with glass sliders. I also have furniture pieces in the living room to replace and an additional piece I want for our bedroom.

No weight yesterday due to being away and none this morning due to no time before I was dressed and drinking coffee. Just as well since Sunday involved lots of champagne and yesterday included a cup of great clam chowder and half of a canoli from Mike's Pastry from the North End of Boston.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Congratulations on nothing to fix! I am the same with you on packing and moving delicate items. You are ahead of me now in getting moved! I still have more than 2 months.

I don't think Medicare ever pays for much. My supplemental always does.
