Oh my gosh, I had to failed to get a sub dream too! In my dream I kept trying to call the school to tell them, but I couldn't get through. Sometimes I have dreams that I forgot to go to an important meeting at the district office.
You've got a lot on your plate, Peps. I think you're doing great!

Great acorn squash recipe. Thanks -- just texted the link to my DF.
Too bad about the garden. And yes, COVID screwed up so very much. Sorry about your fall leaves. It's my favorite season of the year. I hope ours down here are good this year. The rain we've just had will work in the colors' favor.
When do you fly back to Arizona?

You are looking very trim in the photos! Tummy, face, everything!
Sorry to be MIA... Dad, Dog shows, etc... Lots going on and even though I'm reading each day, I haven't had a lot of energy at the end of the day to put my thoughts together. There have been a fair number of 12-14 hour days lately given all my extra curricular duties with my dad, the dogs, dealing with RV, Vans, etc... and the extra school stuff that always seems to come around this time. Luckily, the school stuff isn't bothering me much since it is the last time I will have to deal with it! Hehehehehe.... However, I am having regular stress dreams about NOT showing up at school and not having a sub. Hmmmmmm....
Lowest weight so far today! I am absolutely officially down 50 pounds since starting in late Februaryn(55 lower than all time high in December). Feels wonderful! Paula, thank you for the kind words on Messenger! You made my day! And, you made me take note. Damn, tummy looks flat in that photo, doesn't it?
I still have about 40 to go to get to my comfort range (which is still almost 30 pounds heavier than a normal BMI for my height. Such BS!)
Sounds like y'all are keeping busy with chores domestic! I am impressed. My domicile just keeps getting worse. The garage clutter is untenable, but it's mine. I own it, but it is an ominous task to undertake.
Dog show weekend was okay, not great, but I'm really pleased that Molly did such a great job. I can't help that some of the judges didn't point to her in groups. Now fingers crossed that when final points are tallied up she will remain #1 owner handled Airedale.
New work out schedule begins today... Yay! Gotta keep that muscle on while I lose the rest of this weight.
Lunch break is almost over.... Later!

I hate that too! I don't need to know about your aunt May's stamp collection, your elementary school janitor, your feelings on stone fruits just to get a recipe.
On most pages, there will be a link at the top that says "Jump to Recipe". I use those A LOT.
After VSG I bottomed out at 113, then maintained around 117-120 for quite a while. I prefer being in the middle of a 120-125 range.

That recipe looks delicious! I love acorn squash. BTW does it annoy anyone else that you have to read so much blah blah and/or scroll past a bunch of videos to get to the actual recipe these days?

A wonderful feature in a partner!

Enjoy your last bit of time at your home Liz! Must be bittersweet! At least you have a wedding that will be keeping you and your mind occupied! I think it is wise to cut the med dose again. What was your low post VSG? I think mine was 121 and that was too thin for me with my German build!
164.2 today! Just a few pounds from 30 lost and half way to my goal! Still getting close to 1,000 calories without having to force feed myself! I still need to add exercise and finally feel like I have some energy to do so. Will have to develop a program once I take Mom home this Thursday. Getting started is the hardest part. I know I feel so much better with regular activity and I enjoy it once I get into a routine!
Two different meetings today for my Stephen's Ministry. The first one is being part of a podcast to promote the Ministry - feeling very Gen Z about that! The second one is a meeting of all of the caregivers where we share any difficulties/successes we are having and do continuing education! Tomorrow I am supposed to get together with my care receiver for the second time. I'm really enjoying this Ministry in retirement, gives me purpose like my job in healthcare did! I hope to be able to continue it when we move.
