163.8, another smidge down. Yippy!
Putting together the last of my scrapbooks today. I may run out of the plastic page protectors so probably won't get it all done but I definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Weather still picture perfect here, if not a little hot. Have to return some of Mom's online orders and then we plan to go out to eat for dinner. Pretty sad when Red Lobster is one of the better choices for seafood in the area ! Mom is only here for 2 more full days and then I take her home on Thursday.
Liz, sorry to hear about DD's broken pinky! Hopefully all of the bruising and swelling will be gone by the wedding! You've done such a great job on getting rid of stuff! Wanna come my way and tackle my basement?
Weight 118. 11 days until DD's wedding. DD broke the pinky finger on her ring hand this weekend deflecting a rugby ball which flew into the spectator area (keeping it from hitting her friend's baby). It is rather purple and swollen and I think her ring finger is a little swollen too (not good) - hopefully it will subside by the wedding. Not an unusual occurrence for DD who has always been prone to accidents.
The trash issue isn't getting them to take the regular trash - they are actually really good at taking anything at the curb which is small enough to throw in the truck. But I have about 10 trash cans that need to be thrown out. Maybe I put a label on them in the last week: "Take Me!". DH's house is another story - he has to take everything to the dump as there is no curbside pickup. He has hired someone to remove the junk from his basement as that is where my wardrobe cabinet will reside once it is cleaned in addition to junk being removed. He is de-junking other stuff in the house too including 2 rooms of furniture which will be replaced with my furniture. Their over-stuffed living room will remain that way as the girls like it, but we get to replace the sunroom furniture (as well as the master).
Time to get the trash out to the curb - I have a super full recycling bin and several barrels full. I feel like I have gotten rid of most of the truly excess stuff though I am sure there will be more found in the last packing. Have a terrific Tuesday!

Our AC was on constantly from mid-June to mid-August which is much more than usual on Cape Cod too. The electric bills were huge this summer. In Massachusetts the electric bills are very high and the water bills relatively low compared to Florida where it is the opposite. In Florida the AC runs all year for no more than $100 maximum a month whereas in Massachusetts it has been as high as $350.

Happy Birthday!!!!!
Yes, I can keep a coat going year round as long as I put in the time. Have to do the jacket at least every other week, though ideally weekly is far better. I spend about 4-6 hours per week keeping a show Airedale in proper trim.
Hoping you had nice weather for your pretty view at the restaurant. Haha, 32 calories burned, but with your consistency, so much more is happening!!!
Greetings all
It's my 73 birthday and it started out sunny. It's still pretty nice and I am hoping it holds because we are going to the restaurant with the super ocean view. We shall see
The squash recipe looks great CC. Makes sense to have it savory rather than sweet. If you think about it no vegetables are that good if made sweet. ie consider sweet potatoes with marshmallows! Blech. Seems like most any vegetable could be made along the lines of this acorn squash recipe.
Well Ann I am relieved to know that you are not over mopping. And that you had a great dinner prepared for you.
Liz your morning sounds wonderful. Enjoy. Not sure what you do about extra tra****'s a real issue out here and trash is hard to get rid of. Creepy people are known to take their trash bags, wait for the truck to take someone's trash, then put their trash in the newly emptied cans. There is always 1-800 GOT JUNK but you probably don't have enough for that.
DD is so nice to hear that school is going well this year. The musical sounds great. Bet they did up the Chuck Berry part!
Peps congrats on another great dog show year! Can you keep an airedale in show coat year round or do you have to start over once in awhile?
Yay Paula you are rocking your retirement.
Not much else. I stoped at the studio and took payroll in. Horrors! the big kiln that I prefer did not fire this week as it was not full. So my stuff is still sitting there. Oh well. I also stopped at the gym to use the treadmill and burned a total of 32 calories. While there I saw two young women who appear to be anorexic. One was working out on a stair climber and really appeared unhealthy. Kind of sad.

Re: your AC usage! Our AC has been on almost 24/7 since June! This summer in California has been the hottest summer in recorded history!!!! Thank goodness I have a bank of solar panels on the roof! My highest gas/electric bill this summer has been $184.
