135.8. Unfortunately I am down for the count. Feel like absolute dog dodo! I'm not able to eat, 700 calories on Monday, less than 300 yesterday and so far today 360. I'm trying to prioritize rest and hydration. I'll skip my dose tomorrow and resume with a half dose on Sunday if my appetite returns.

This is to be the last sunny day for awhile. Rain arrives soon. Got Tesla to the vet for annual check up and some shots plus nail trim. She is nasty about that but otherwise very good. House got cleaned this morning so all is good. I still need to hit the gym but we shall see. Not feeling it but also have no excuse.
Hey Ann, CC told me about a place called myknobs.com or something like that which has a zillion drawer pulls and knobs and in many colors and finishes. Extensive.
Yeah Liz, that sink was Homary. I kind of want one but I bet all those little fountains and squirts would clog up. Still it's cool.

Tastee sandwiches again tonight. The $10 per pound gourmet hamburger seemed about like any other lean hamburger. Perfectly good but doubt I will get it again.
Not much else. I signed up for Blue Sky but haven't quite figured it out.

213.5 I think I'm going to have to diet to get this last 25+ pounds off. Dammit! Well, I guess since the first 65-70 has come off with minimal effort, a little hard core dieting to get the last bit off is not a big deal. I'm sure with the meds on board it won't be as difficult as I fear. All of my issues with eating at this point are choice and emotional based. Glad I am able to own that. We'll see how it goes over the next few weeks. I have two and a half weeks to reach my goal of 210 by my b'day. Still doable IF I buckle down.
I left the house without my bag this morning. So no wallet, no phone, no cash, no cards... Throws a wrench into my plans of doing a few things after school (including picking up Ron's b'day present). I'll have to go home and scoot out again. Boooooo!
Had a lovely visit with my dad yesterday evening. He was talkative and up beat. He was pretty with it, though made some interesting errors - like telling me he needs to time his phone calls to his long time girlfriend who lives about 45 minutes away because there is a 3 hour time difference to consider. I find it interesting what he does and doesn't remember. He remembered my great aunt's name (my mother's aunt who lived in Germany) when discussing a statue he had seen on his travels, but he doesn't remember the name of the college where he worked for 35 years. Brain function/dysfunction is truly fascinating.
Paula, I hope you are not down for the count and your bout with Covid is mild.
CC, hope your dad is on the mend.
Not too surprising that local ICE appearances are making the evening news here. It was reported that not only are some immigrants not showing up for work, but they are keeping children out of school - even legal immigrants and their citizen children. I hope that our district's outreach and assurances to parents will keep our kids coming to school. It is federal law that children under 18 are entitled to free public education independent of citizenship or legal residency and status.

Yep - there are a million choices for knobs and pulls. I like finding pictures of cabinets where I like the look of the knobs/pulls, then searching for similar. Sometimes a much larger selection online.

Same here, Liz. "Homary" is what I hacked, too. The sinks I saw online look more like car dashboards than sinks.
And Diane--I've never eaten or even heard of lemon risotto, but it sounds luscious!

Heated floors are indeed nice. We had those in the full bathrooms in our Missouri home.

The low last night was 34! Finally, we got through an above-freezing night, which should reduce the snow piles in parking lots. High today will be 52 and sunny!
Liz, I've not read Small Things Like These, nor have I seen the movie. It sounds like a book that one of my book clubs will soon help me read.
Today I start the hunt for a lot of drawer pulls and door knobs for cabinets and closet doors. Turns out doors don't typically come with knobs--who knew! Plumbing inspection is done. It'll be a *****aotic around here today, so I'll be avoiding the busyness. It'll be a nice day to be out and about. I'm looking forward to it. I may try to find someone to have lunch with.

117.4 - a new low not sought. Our visit with friends in the Florida Keys was great but they sure eat different from us. We tend to eat little or nothing early, then eat a good lunch. Snack in mid-afternoon and a decent dinner around 6:30 or so. Our friends eat cereal, yogurt and fruit for breakfast, snack on low cal/healthy stuff for lunch and eat dinner at 4:30. Being out of synch was hard for us, so I think I ate less than normal, which wasn't necessarily good. I do worry whether the husband is getting enough calories as he has had some nasty surgery a couple of times for radiation damage to his intestines (post-cancer) and is incredibly thin. Though he ate a larger meal than I did at dinner and more at breakfast, I'm not sure that is enough calories for a guy to regain lost weight. But what do I know? He eats what his wife tells him to eat. She used to have them eat as vegans but he lost way too much weight on that, so she added fish in (so pescatarian now).
Anyway, we are back in our local Bubble. The next couple of days are busy: DH has golf this morning and I have water aerobics, bocce this afternoon, then I have Book Club tonight.
We read Small Things Like These for Book Club. Good book and quite thought provoking. Also very short (about an hour or so to read).
