205.8 - same as yesterday.
I did not make it to the gym yesterday as I was unable to pull myself away from the garage cleaning. Booooo.... I could have taken a break, but Ron had mojo and motion and I was not going to miss the opportunity to get stuff done. We made a fairly good dent in decluttering. The driveway had three working piles: discard, donate, keep. I estimate we got about 25 percent of the garage tackled. We have a nice big donate pile, a medium donate pile and all the items in the keep pile are back in the garage and there is a lot more free space than there was before we started. Best is that the space for the new freezer is ready!
2 dogs on the books for today. I also have to work on Bug. Buster is ready to go. He'll just need some tweaking next week. I will try to hit the gym late afternoon or early evening while Ron is at church. No promises though.
I refuse to look at my investment accounts and am thankful and grateful to have a pension to rely on. My brother is "self pensioned" and I'm sure he is feeling the stress of the market.
On that note, GO Diamond D!!!! Proud of you for standing up and being heard.
Not much else. Toodles!
Good job on the garage! I thank goodness for my pension and social security too. Hopefully I won't have to touch my other accounts for a while so they can recoup.

Greetings all
Big sun here. The dogs are basking on the deck. Nice. A sure sign that summer is approaching.
Kudos to DD for going to the capital. There is a protest here at the courthouse and gallery members wanted to go so sub worker needed. My protest march days are over but I certainly root for those who step up. My own activism consists of letter writing.
Yeah CC it is easy to get roiled about a personal situation where you feel misunderstood. But it sounds like you have done all you can to clear up the misunderstanding.Yeah when you signed on to your board you did not plan on being a cop. People should consider whether this activity is really hurting anything - ie traffic, noise, garbage or whatever. If not, I say chill. I have seen my arts groups get all caught up in rules when there is no evil being prevented and no harm done. But that is me I guess - anti autocracy. Bet your friend eventually comes around after she faces the issue.
Hey Peps, garage cleaning counts as a work out!! Plenty of effort there.
Missed the gym yesterday as I took Poppy on the training walk. Will do today and also get to the studio. Yeah Paula, DH and I are both sleeved so half a restaurant meal feeds us both. Of course, DH is a serial snacker so he does not eat a lot at one time but munches all day long - exactly what we are not supposed to do.
Liz hope you don't get a cold. Elderberry zinc lozenges are my go to for such. I do think they work. Are those Allbirds shoes ones with actual ties or are they the step in ones with fake laces. I need real laces.
Gee Ann stay safe from the floods. Interesting that they don't want you to wash stuff due to drainage overload but good that someone is paying attention to that. Mother nature is a B----.
Paula do you have other markets for your art work besides ETSY? I assume you have looked into consignment at local shops. A large part of our gallery business is cards but we have a kind of captive tourist audience. We finally got a bar code scanner for our cards as there are so many and all the inventory codes took a lot of time to enter.
Not much else. Time to make some eggs and head out for today's adventures. Diane S
The sneakers have real laces. I have 2 pairs, one pair at each house. The second pair I bought through their "rerun" program which are returns that they sell in like-new condition. I saved some money on them and they were truly just as if brand new.
i think some people volunteer for HOA boards because they enjoy enforcing rules (whether they make sense or not). Seems like that sort of person likes the feeling of power. We had a rule in my last place that each person could have one dog and one cat as long as they were under a specified weight and not an excluded breed. One woman who used to help care for an elderly woman ended up with the woman's 2 tiny Yorkshire terriers when she died. They probably weighed 3-4 pounds apiece. She did not have a cat. Someone turned her in for having two dogs so she had to find someone to take one of them. Really? The 2 together weighed less than my one ten pound chihuahua.

I just do Etsy and art fairs for my fine art photography. Never really looked into consignment at local shops but should consider that once we get to Florida. Or perhaps I'll just hang it up! Not sure if I want to move all of my crap! Lol! I did ask our local Botanical Gardens where most of my floral pics were taken if they would want to carry my cards in their gift shop and was surprised when they turned me down!
