Holston House was really nice, wasn't it? I have never stayed at an Indigo.
The financial meeting was between Mike and I. Since we don't co-mingle funds, we split most expenses but usually one or the other of us makes the payment on each. So we reconcile at the end of the month. Speaking of knowing what to do if the bill-payer is incapacitated, I realized that neither of us has a backup person to do that. We should figure that out.
Enjoy Memphis!

127.7. Needing bathroom time again!
Shower went well and I did muster up energy for the concert last night but needed a nap after church today!
The candle lit concert last night was very good. A string quartet played a little over an hour of Queen music! I love Queen and found myself toe tapping and singing the songs in my head the whole time! They of course had audience participation for We Will Rock You - stomp, stomp, clap! Would recommend!
Tonight we will order in pizza for the crew. DSD, fiancé and DC1 are all here!
Sounds like a cool concert!

Greetings all
The wind is howling today but not much rain. I want out and got dog food and then went to the gym to walk. There was a grunter but I obscured it with David Bowie. Fun to listen to old music I had sort of forgotten. But I really need to make myself sample current stuff. I have no clue.
So I decided to play grown up and work on taxes. Mainly to figure out what is missing. Looks like one investment statement plus retirement plan distribution statement. Web site says I don't get one which is BS because I took a big chunk out. So tomorrow I will try to call or chat with some robot or something. I thought maybe they had emailed it but nothing appears.
So DD Memphis looks fun. Glad the BB King place was good and not crapped up. He came to my college campus in 1970 I think. And Lucile.
Yo Peps freezer clean out! Who knows what mysteries you will find. Agreed an upright is the thing to have. I have never had a freezer other than the one with fridge. I fear it would get filled with unknown stuff like every other nook and cranny in our house.
So I am making a pot roast today. Just starting to smell yummy. We shall see how it turns out. Selecting a proper chuck roast is necessary.
Paula the shower picture is adorable. Bet you are looking forward to wedding.
Liz now I want noodles! What a great sounding dish.
Little Vivian is doing well at home. She will be much fussed over. And she has two teenage cousins who are eager to baby sit.
Yeah we should all think about what to do if something happens to partner. I have DH as POD on accounts and he will be able to get into my computer - he already can- though I don't know his. Plus my brother and I were talking about having plans for if we become drooling incompetent. We have no plans. Guess I should think of a POA. Maybe tomorrow. I have the second dental deep cleaning tomorrow so will think about that as I drool.

Vivian and family have support nearby! How lucky they all are.
And yum to pot roast. I haven't made one in years. I think I like the vegetables cooked with them as much or more than the meat.

Hi all! Sorry for being absent, just got a little burned out thinking about weight loss... still feeling itto be honest.
The weather has been really nice here. I've been planting. I forget how dreadful the soil is here until I have to try to dig in it. Rock hard, riddled with rocks, and no organic matter visible. We're lucky anything grows here at all! Godspeed to my little plants. They'll need a miracle to survive.
Kirby had a visit from his girlfriend Aussie doodle and in maybe 20 minutes of running around outside with her on the flagstone patio ripped his back large paw pads off on both feet. Lots of blood! He of course would have none of me wrapping his feet (I needed another set of hands) and he ate part of his cone of shame. Sigh. So lots of hearing licking and shouting no around here lately. I know dog paws and tennis courts don't mix and it's so obvious now flagstone has the same fine grit sandpaper texture to it.
I bit the bullet and ordered a bunch of fancy new outdoor furniture. The weather is so harsh here, I reasoned this is a time not to cheap out as lesser quality stuff deteriorates faster in the heat/sun/dryness/freeze cycle. The delivery company comes to this neck of the woods twice a month so my scheduled date isn't until April 22. At least the charges are trickling in slowly. Gives me time to get used to it in chunks.
Anyway, I'll try to be better about checking in. Take care all!
Oh my goodness - poor Kirby!
Yes, you do live in a rough climate for anything needing water or shade. Beautiful but harsh.
