Where the heck am I? I woke up around 3 am trying to remember where I was and why Mike wasn't there. LOL, if it's Wednesday, I must be in Massachusetts.

I had dinner with DD, SIL, and DD's MIL. Nice visit and I was able to have a corned beef dinner which I missed having on St Patrick's Day. Quite good, though I only ate about 1/3 of it. DD took the leftovers. I do have a refrigerator here but no microwave.

We have to be at the hospital at 10:30 this morning. I may run to a pharmacy first to get a couple of things but will meet the kids there. Hopefully today goes well with no surprises. DD actually looks better than when they came a couple of weeks ago because she is on stronger medication for the bleeding which has helped and her blood counts are rising. They checked yesterday in case she needed a pre-surgery transfusion. The surgery is same-day but at the hospital vs an outpatient only facility. I'm happy about that in case there is more of a challenge than expected. I'm not sure what I will do about meals today though I do have cottage cheese and Nut Thins here in the room which will serve in a pinch.

Not much else to report yet. Have a winning Wednesday!

Here is Justice sleeping on the couch from my living room camera (not the best resolution at the distance it is at):

209.7 Staying below 210 makes me happy - especially after two major workout days. I am feeling a little more motivated than I was a few weeks ago. It was pretty easy this morning to pass on the donuts brought into the teachers' room. I think you all know donut shop donuts are hard draw for me.

Got a 4 week old video of the pups yesterday. They are SOOOO CUTE! I will post it on TT, but who knows if it will go through. I don't think the puppy pics ever posted.

Diamond D, I also have spring break next week. After Friday i will have only 39 more work days left, two of which are scheduled absences. So, really only about 6 full weeks of teaching left for me. It seems surreal that this huge chapter of my life is coming to an end. I am unable to file any paperwor****il 90 days prior to my pension retirement date. May 1 can't come soon enough.

We had glorious weather yesterday - sunny and in the 80s!!!!! It was warm enough to wear shorts when we went out for sushi for dinner! Today will only be in the mid to upper 60s. I am more than ready for full on spring!

Wishing Tierney the best of possible outcomes today!

Happy Hump Day!

Congrats on staying below 210! Your last 6 weeks should hopefully go fast!

An 80 degree day would be wonderful! I'm itching to get the kayaks out!

It hits me when I'm setting up plans for next year as a department chair (I took it back after my friend was in a bad accident, he has enough on his plate recovering). I'll even say next year we'll... and then I laugh and say, well you all will... then they tease me about bragging.

I saw the puppies under your page (not TT). They are adorable! Are you getting one?

Nice job bypassing the donuts! I had a pastry last night and not only felt guilty but my intestines were definitely not thrilled either.

128.something. This morning was too long ago to remember! Lol!

Busy day of cleaning and then a Costco run. Also had a care conference call with my brother, mother and her Nursing home staff. Looks like she might be discharged back to her assisted living in the next couple of weeks, which will make her happy!

Will spend the next few hours working on my Etsy site. if it doesn't take off soon, I'll be done with it! Can't afford to be losing money in retirement!

Bible study tomorrow morning which I'm leading and then more cleaning for the shower! Getting excited for the wedding!

That's good news about your Mom. I can't help thinking about how my Mom could have a more expansive life if she lived in assisted living. They won't budge though.

Good news on your Mom. Good assisted living can be such a good environment at that stage of life. My MIL probably lived longer and happier because of the support.

Greetings all

It't a great sunny day and almost warm. But the wind is picking up and there may be storms later. Even so, there are buds and flowers and daffodils out and it is spring here.

So I am sitting here letting my hair dry before I go out. DH is at our new dentist for a crown. I go tomorrow for a deep cleaning of some sort. Not looking forward to it. In a bit I will head up to the gallery to take some art that I am supposed to take tomorrow but won't be able to do so at the appointed time. I need to get at the label printer to make little signs for the work. Liz you will probably hear me cursing in MA as I always struggle with that device. A nice person is on duty this afternoon and i may be able to get her to work the label maker for me. She is PC savvy; unlike me. Plus the computer mouse there is the size of a VW bug and is hard for me to use. Excuses!

Gosh Liz I would not blame you if you woke up thinking you were on a boat! Hoping all goes well for DD and her issues are solved.

Yay Peps on being below your mark! More will go soon. Even better is the countdown to freedom. Yay.

Speaking of countdown, our niece is having labor induced - maybe at this very minute! We have a family chat channel on Slack Chat so hoping nephew keeps us posted on all details. Miss Vivian is on the way.

Yeah Paula sometimes what happened 3 hours ago seems like ancient history. Means you have a busy fun life!

Last of the loose meat sandwiches will be served tonight. I wonder if I will be up for Costco after tomorrow's dental work? Maybe not.
