Sorry your trip is soon coming to an end Liz. It looked truly wonderful. Enjoy your last few days on the island's! Praying for a successful surgery for DD and that her blood levels return to normal. She must be feeling awful!
127.7 today, still within my range. Feeling good! Exercised yesterday but not today. I will get back on it again tomorrow!
Ruebens for dinner tonight. Nice and easy!
Tomorrow will be Character Development class and then church. I'll be making that Shepherds Pie soup again that we liked so well!
This next weekend will be a whirlwind of activity getting ready for the shower I am hosting on Saturday!
DSD and fiancé found out where his residency program will be - Omaha Nebraska! They will do a transition year in Milwaukee first and then he will have a 4 year residency in Nebraska. That works out well with our timing for going to Florida too. We will have one more year closer to all the kids.
I love Creighton. My aunt was the head of the medical ethics department there for several years. (Shameless brag, she ended her career as the head of medical ethics at Harvard).
Creighton is part of the Jesuit system. Our DD attended Loyola, also a Jesuit school. I love the Jesuits so much. Not perfect, but an order that had done a lot of good work, including giving us our current Pope.
I assume this is your "Auntie Mame."

Greetings all
The rain has finally let up. DH is off to the store so I get the tv control while my hair dries. Off to the gym in a bit and will paint/glue some art projects.
Liz what a great portrait of your group all in ecru! Great idea. Sending good thoughts on the anniversary of Elise's passing. It has been so kind of you to share her with us these years. Indeed she has the most winning of all smiles. Enjoy the last couple of days there. And we are all grateful that DD is finally getting some meaningful medical help. More good energy.
DD sounds like a news holiday is a good plan. Especially over the weekend. Better to have coffee and scones. Enjoy a the weekend. Nothing beats a full orchestra sound. Awesome.
Ann we so love your description of the music at the museum. What a great idea to pair the art and music of an era. Music does indeed soothe, stimulate and motivate. More please.
Paula yay for Omaha and the med match. Both teaching hospitals are excellent. The Med center is a world famous organ transplant center. Your SIL will get great training. Great town ( where I lived 25 years). Loads of culture and a vibrant downtown arts area.
Well my hair is almost dry so I had better get moving. Gym awaits.
