Next to last day on the boat and it looks absolutely gorgeous out at 8 am. Yesterday was overcast with showers at times and choppy water so we did not swim off the boat at all. We did climb around some rock formations on Virgin Gorda for a while in the afternoon but otherwise just lounged around and ate good meals. A crepe with vegetables and eggs for breakfast, pulled pork sandwiches for lunch, and lamb lollipops with salad and mashed potatoes for dinner. The guys were thrilled with it...
The dingy did get retrieved and our captain spent a few hours cleaning it out as it was filled with water and sand. Amazingly the motor did not get submerged so once everything around it was drained it worked fine. Lucky!
The 3 person crew on the boat work really hard all day - always something to do from cooking, cleaning, putting anchor lines out and in, etc. They turn in early at night (by 9) and are up early in the morning. When we come out of our cabin at 7, the crew is already hard at work.
I've had a few pictures of Justice from the farm. His caregiver doesn't take the best pictures but he seems to be enjoying poking around the farm. Probably lots of interesting smells LOL.
Have a thankful Thursday!

Liz, great photo of you and Mike! I hope your last two days on the boat are wonderful.
Spring officially sprang here at 2:01 am! Happy Spring everyone! I could definitely use a bit of a warm up. I'm tired of cold hands and cold feet! I much prefer short and flip flop weather.
Thanks for the vote of approval on my waist size. However, I HAVE to get below 200 pounds to feel that I am in a somewhat normal range for me. I think that 185 would be ideal, but that may be a push. That's 25 more pounds. Right now I'm aiming for 197. That is just low enough that daily fluctuations should keep me under the 200 mark.
That horrible woman I had the co ownership issues with has raised her ugly head again. I saw last night just before bed that she sent an email the day before. Stupid me read it. I guess her seeing me last weekend at the seminar in Washington triggered her and she's back at it. If she didn't annoy me so terribly, I might feel sorry for her. It must be hard to be her. But then again, as you sow, so shall you reap! She seems to be living the life she so richly deserves. I don't think I could survive being wound so tightly!
I have nice thoughts about making it through the next 45 work days. My apathy about school issues drips from my pores. I am emotionally divorcing from all things district related. I can't justify exerting mental energy on anything more than my daily teaching. I am checked out. I thank God that I am not in the regular classroom. My attitude would be a disservice to the students! Being a music teacher I can get away with it. We sing, do music, and have fun. I go from one classroom to another bringing my musical playground. (I'm just not hitting the theory as hard this year.)
Last night after the music extravaganza I bathed, blow dried and trimmed on Buster until 10:45! Then dealing with co owner email kept me up until well past my bed time. I had a short, short night. Luckily, I don't feel too tired.
Running up to the show grounds to set up right after school. Hopefully, I'll be back in time for my session with the trainer. Not much else for today.
Have a very vernal equinox kind of day!
People that co-owner sure can suck the energy out of everyone else.

Greetings all
Early start for me today. We had appointments at the DMV to get real IDs. Just in case we ever get on an airplane again. I was my usual skeptical self as the DMV is in a big mall here and I thought it would be really crappy and inconvenient. Turns out it was fine. The place was well run and efficient. We should get the id's in a few weeks.
So the day is overcast but it is not raining. I have forgotten how many storms are lined up over the Pacific. I will live in the moment.
Last night's chicken with Japanese bbq sauce was pretty good though salty. I had forgotten how salty that sauce already is and had salted the chicken. DH approved so thats the main thing.
Liz that trip looks to great. So the yacht cruises around in the day to various locations? Snorkel ops? Menu sounds great. I love lamb but DH hates it and cannot stand the smell of it.
Peps you are entitled to a bit of apathy after all the years of energy investment. What a marathon you had yesterday grooming the dog after the other events. I bet you are in for a big weight drop soon. Shows this weekend? One of our gallery members is an art teacher and she just announced she is taking early retirement as well. We all celebrated!
Feeling chilled today. Time to head to the gym and studio.

Yes, the yacht cruises during the day, usually 2-3 hours to get to new destinations. All the islands are pretty close around here.
3 weeks to receive a Real ID license? We get them same day in Massachusetts and Florida.

128.8. Up a smidge, still in range. I've been feeling much more snackish and maybe hungrier. Couldn't wait for lunch today after Bible study (it was 11:00 am) and am snacking on Chex mix now at 2:00. I'm also getting the evening munchies. Cravings that I have not had for the last 8+ months, as you know it was difficult to even get 1,000 calories in. I hope the 2 mg injection will be enough. Today was shot day, we'll see tomorrow if food noise is curbed.
Bible study went well today, a smaller crowd since we had a snowstorm last night and some didn't want to venture out on the snow and ice covered roads (understandable).
Tomorrow is Match day for future SIL. They will find out where he will be doing his residency and in which field of medicine. They will most likely need to move, could be closer to us but could also be quite a bit further away. Not that that matters much because we are seriously reconsidering our move (or decision not to move) to Florida. I really can't handle WI winters anymore, home prices are coming down and being snowbirds just seems too expensive (rent at 6,000 per month) for the type of place we would want! I'm back to looking daily at Florida inventory!
No plans for the weekend, which is okay. Next weekend will be jam packed with the shower and a concert we are attending!
Home prices are definitely coming down in Florida, though insurance and HOA's on condos are going up. I can't cope with the cold up north anymore - I would have to be like hermit up there in the winter.
I hope future SIL gets a good match!
