The biopsy has been cancelled for tomorrow due to additional findings in DD's blood work. She has been referred to another doctor. DD said last night that she couldn't get in to see her today she may go to the ER.
Much worry about that while planning to leave for an overseas trip tomorrow. Packing is mostly done for that. We went to a phenomenal production of Singing in the Rain last night. Greek Night tonight at the clubhouse after I drop Justice off for 12 days on a farm.
Possibly water aerobics this morning before taking Justice for his walk, but maybe not as it is in the high 40's right now and the temperature may not exceed the 55 degree threshold by 9. Really weird for mid-March here.
Also, I have been meaning to mention an Apple+ series called Home Before Dark. Really well done and no aliens. The parents in it make me feel a bit inept (the perfect parents in most situations), but it really is worth watching. We are trying to get the last few episodes of season 2 done before we leave tomorrow.
Have a wordy Wednesday.

So sorry to hear about the cancelled biopsy. Bugger!
129.2 today.
Still planning on harder exercise DVD today. I can do it!!! Positive affirmations there!
Didn't have the loaded baked potatoes last night as Costco shopping took too long, so a quick taco out was dinner. Potatoes will be on the menu for tonight.
Bible study prep today! Already did some laundry! Would rather be doing a Justice walk or water aerobics (if temp was warmer!). Looking forward to getting outside more here soon!
Update: DD spoke with other doctor who says her bloodwork is fine on the issues Gyn was concerned about. A little out of norm but not much. Said it was a Gyn problem. DD called Gyn's office - she is out today and of course no biopsy tomorrow. So... with symptoms getting worse she is going to the ER this afternoon. At least she should be able to get a referral to another doctor at minimum.
Maybe we are more sensitive than most but this feels so much like what eldest DD went through - the assumption that someone young can't have anything serious so putting things off until it is too late. So much time ignoring signs, not always following protocol, and letting it go so long that in the end it killed her. Can't help but feel like it could be happening again.

How scary for your DD and you. I hope she gets some action very soon! What feels like lack of urgency from the medical world (and it may not be, but the wheels of medicine turn slowly) is such a frustrating part of concerning health issues.
I got so much done yesterday. I didn't start out thinking I would get all my tax stuff together, but I did it! Such a pain going through every bank and credit card statement to find medical and tax deductible charges (I itemize). 3 credit cards and my checking account x 13 statements (the end of December shows up on January's statement the next year). So 52 statements to check! Then filling out my tax organizer, finding all the year end statements/forms and my solar install info and scanning it all took about 5 hours all together. And then I still pay a heap to the CPA to do them. Not fun. But done.
I also tried on a bunch of clothes I had bought and never tried on so I could return stuff. Does anyone else do that? Buy stuff then can't make yourself go through it? It's like Schroedinger's Cat, but with clothes. Until you try them on they both look great and terrible at the same time. Some of it was great, most wasn't. Much is on its way back to the store. I mostly wear a uniform of the same items in different colors, so branching out into other clothes is uncomfortable for me. Must be some old tapes, not wanting to draw any attention to myself.
Today the dealership os picking up my car for the rattle. I think. Never know with them if they will reschedule. Still beats taking it up myself.
I got an appointment for next week to have a windshield chip fixed too. Such a thing in AZ with all the rocks! I've already had my windshield replaced once.
And I went to Ace Hardware for some pain****er softener salt and a 5 gallon bucket. I have gone through so many buckets! Workmen seem to think they are theirs and walk off with them. Even when I put my name on them. I have these pillars along my front walkway with flagstone caps that are 4' x 4' x 3". One is crumbling and decided to fall onto the walkway making a huge mess. Of course, not a bucket to be found. I've been trying for 2 years to find someone who can find me a replacement slab to no avail. It's now become more urgent. The size and the dark purple color are unusual.
Anyway, some more rain headed our way. Yay! We gad sone nice storms last night. Take care all...
Wow! You did get a lot done!
What is especially frustrating is why doctor #1 couldn't have called doctor #2 to talk directly instead of "referring" DD before she went ahead and cancelled the biopsy which still would have been 3 weeks delayed if it happened this week. And she only does those procedures once a week. Meanwhile everything is getting worse. I know you have been through this stuff with your Dad - not easy and we know enough to know that delays can matter.

Greetings
Liz we are all thinking of you and DD. Glad the other doctor helped focus the issue back to gyn. Telling you not to worry would be pointless so we will all worry too. Yeah ER sounds like a good option. Then she will get attention. Healthcare system is such that sometimes that is all one can do. Hoping for some good information coming your way soon.
Meanwhile the rain has started here. Slow and steady. Making mud for the dogs to track in. The house is being cleaned so they can tra**** again.
Plumber came to give estimates. He suggested a ho****er recirculator to put on the heater so there is immediate ho****er at all points. I was just wanting it for the kitchen as that one is so slow. Costs a little more but works for me. We are gonna do it. Also new disposal as soon as he figures out what will fit.
Today I will go to the gym and then the studio. Got the tax return done fairly painlessly. It's the gallery corporate return and its really pretty simple so no need for accountant. We are all about doing chores ourselves to save $$. My own is another story. I use a CPA. Meanwhile the gallery neighbor wants us to cut down a little tree and paint our building and do some other stuff though it is not clear what they want. We don't care about the tree - it's a weed. The other stuff may be more of an issue. This person's writing is vague. They want us to take over what they have been doing but they do not specify what that is. Always something.
Well Paula good on you for the longer treadmill walks. We like "Ghosts" which is a short sit com which would make good treadmill viewing.
Chicken tenders for dinner last night. We started watching Dexter. OMG it is weird but interesting. Will check out Home After Dark too.
Stay warm all.
Diane S
That ho****er recirculator sounds like a great idea. Yeah Dexter is weird but definitely sucks you in pretty quickly.
