Yesterday we did errands in the afternoon then went to a volunteer appreciation ****tail hour. It was held in the model home of a new area in our community. Unbelievable house - the master bath/closet and the laundry room wow you as much as every other area. The place is huge! Starting price is $2M and I would guess with all the upgrades this place must be worth $3.5M or more. Gorgeous but too much space. And how would you ever reach the top kitchen cabinets which in my estimation require a 6 foot ladder to get into?
I am having my hair highlighted and trimmed today by a new stylist recommended by a friend. She used to live in Massachusetts, then the other coast of Florida, now here. It has been almost 3 months since it was done so it is time!
Not sure what else we will do. The weather has been weird the last few days because of the cool and rather strong north wind which keeps blowing through. The sun is warm but the wind is not. Usually it is calming down by March but the beginning of this month seems more like February in Florida.
Have a tenacious Tuesday!

This may be my only post this week. We're living at an Extended Stay America hotel, and it is "an experience." I chose this place because it was cheap. And it is. A bit like a prison cell. With a refrigerator. Room service every two weeks. Not kidding. I'm glad we'll be here only a week--if we last that long.
Oh well, it's still not like we're living under a bridge.
And we both have tummy bugs, which I don't think we can blame on the hotel.
And the daily DC idiocies aren't helping.
And it'll be raining the next few days.
I'm gonna go eat some worms.

That doesn't sound fun being in a depressing room with a stomach bug! Hopefully the time will pass quickly

Looks like we're all in some kind of weather pattern...rain here and wind advisory today and tomorrow gusting up to 60mph. Poo, as I have a dentist appointment today (woke up the other day missing a crown; no doubt disappeared down the pie-hole and beyond...). Fingers crossed a "lost" crown falls under the warranty.
Taking advantage of Spring Church rummage sale upcoming to glean more stuff and clutter held over from move and nice enough to bring a good price for church, but still a bargain for buyers...
Ann, had to laugh at your comment bout "eating worms". DH (self proclaimed shy and quiet guy) was a free wheeling, improvisational hoot in back of a puppet stage. My all time favorite line .."Nobody likes me-every one hates me- guess I'll go home and eat dirt". After 41 years, I still smile at the thought of it
Goodness golly, they just predicted snow for late tonight and over early morning...

FYI: DD's biopsy is scheduled in an OR on 3/13. Fingers crossed that it is in the morning as we are flying to Tortola from Miami at 12:30 pm that day.
