Wow, all you skinny people! I love it! And you organizing people. I may join you in your quest someday.

We left our house at 11:30 am and returned at 8:30 pm, so my dreams of accomplishing anything Saturday were dashed. When we got in the car, DH said, that wasn't too bad. And it wasn't, thanks to him. When the nonsense and airing of the grievances started, and I could feel my flight or freeze response starting, he deftly turned the conversation. It was nice to see my brother and SIL too. My nephew was able to stop by to hand off his 2 boys to my brother for the weekend and then he was off to home to meet up with his wife. They are so well suited for each other. Their night away from the kids is spent sleeping and ice fishing in their fish house.

I am getting little accomplished today either. I decided not to make a list of that which must be done and settled on the most necessary task, which is laundry. Almost done with it, along with reading the NYT Sunday paper. We leave at 6pm to go to Minneapolis to see a Midsummer Night's Dream. Then the weekend is done, and the new work week begins. Each day closer to Spring Break.

Liz thinking of you and your family as your DD navigates all of this.

Sounds like a good visit was had. DH has quite a skill in maneuvering the conversation.

Greetings all

dull day at the gallery. Not one person has come in. I was listening ro some mediocre music decided to listen to all of Les mis instead. Crossword puzzle done and local shrimpy paper reviewed. Did some walking and will do more.

grateful that you all have lots to report. Liz your dd is indeed being proactive on health issue. Hope that continues. Information is your friend. Hours on a beach sounds grand. Unlike hours at home which are taken by tv or snacking, beach is healthy relaxation.

y'all are on a clean out binge cc, peps and all. Yay y'all. Good reminder to us all that it can be done. Getting started is 90%.

bonnie sorry your bil took a fall. Good for you all for helping. Will he need to consider moving.? Not a thing to look forward to.

dd glad the parent visit was good and that your dh defused the ranting. Blesses relief.

i mixed the chicken with some veggies and orzo last night. Dh was happy. Me too.

well sorry for crappy typing. One finger with less than ideal vision is recipe for errors.

looking forward to Oscar's tonight and to getting out of here in 3 hours. Feels like detention.
