My rodent chewed car is a BMW!

Darned destructive rodents are everywhere!

Greetings all

It's one of those sun vs rain days here. Not raining at the gym but pouring by the time I got a mile home. And there was a fabulous rainbow. I swear it touched the ground at the end of our street1

So I did my waddling at the gym today. There seemed to be a lot of middle aged women there who were all dolled up! No clue why. Of course, thats what I did 30 years ago when I met future DH at the gym. Tee hee. And just for fun I punched the incline button one increment. Really did not make much difference.

So yesterday was all football and I invited two friends over. One brought a pizza. Two and a half games later they were still there yacking! I was picking up dishes, feeding the dogs, offering them bags etc etc - everything I could do to get them to leave. Wore me out. One is having a hard time with dementia husband so she is entitled. Oh well, got pizza at least.

Safe travels Liz. You should be almost home by now. Enjoy the warmth. Justice will.

Yes DD, perfect description of midwest weather. Fortunately there are those beautiful fall days. And I hear you on the vulnerability of empty table space. DH cannot leave any table top or shelf empty - fills it immediately. No task can be performed here without clearing other stuff first. We want to hear what you think of this"James". Huckleberry Finn was such a great book I can't imagine why people want to ban it. Or any other book for that matter. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Dog shows at the polo grounds Peps. Sounds swank. Never been to a polo grounds. Do they clean up after the horses?

Yep Paula, indeed everyone has a story. Some more dramatic than others but all worthy.

Soup for dinner tonight. Came from Safeway but I will add extra chicken.

Must get busy on some new art projects for feature in April. Clay is not quick. Gotta plan ahead.

I never got the women at the gym with full makeup on. But of course if I am really working at all I sweat like crazy. Makeup trails down the face would not be a good look (and would sure mess up the towel). Sounds like your walking is strengthening you if going up a bit doesn't feel more difficult?

P.S. I once had a squirrel that got inside my house! Chewed the interior phone lines. Caught it in a humane trap and released it at a lake miles away. But it was in there a couple of days and made a mess. . ds

Wow! Even more rodent stories! I sure hope the stinky stuff back in my car works for the rest of the winter.
