Another full day coming up. I have to drive to my former area an hour away for my physical this morning, then come back, pack, and go back to that area this afternoon to stay at the hotel there for 2 nights. We are bringing Justice but he seems a little off this morning. I hope it is just a short-lived thing. He has been eating fine but has been missing his long walks as the weather has not cooperated. Hopefully he can get one this morning while I am at my appointment.
Tonight we are going with DS and SIL to a local restaurant we like for Meatloaf Monday, then we are going to a light display at the nearby Garden and Museums. We went to it last year and really enjoyed it. Will have to dress warm though.
Time to get clothes in the wash and me in the shower. Have a mistletoe Monday!

142.2, same ol', same ol'. DH working 12 hour day shift today. DS3 sleeping (he stayed up half the night gaming) and DC1 working. DS2 rolls in later tonight.
I think I might make a chocolate mint cheesecake today. We will be celebrating the younger 2 boy's birthdays on Friday but they will both be leaving after the dinner celebration. I want them to be able to eat as much of the birthday treat as possible before they leave so I will make it early! Our Christmas celebration will be tomorrow night. DH and I will attend a church service earlier in the day and then we will all have our crab dinner and open presents in the evening.
I think today I will tackle the business books and maybe do laundry! Fun!
Busy lady! I feel for your DH working those long hours and not feeling well.

215 again.... like Paula said, same ol', same ol'... gettin a little frustrating, but I know it will drop when ready. Nothing I can do but keep doing what I'm doing. But the jeans fresh out of the closet told a different story. The new 34" waist slim fit Levis went on with ease. Not even snug - just perfect. Whooo hooooo!
Yesterday was a data gathering day. I updated the MyFitnessPal app on my phone and logged food and exercise for the day. Calories were low at just over 1500, but I think I may have fudged a little there and it might have actually been higher. What I didn't realize is that the free version of MyFitnessPal doesn't track macros anymore in the running total. It does tell you protein grams when you look at a food individually though. I got over 100 grams of protein yesterday - just about 120 grams.
I added the dreaded cardio yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Guess I'm in better cardio shape than I thought, too! I popped out a mile on the treadmill with ease and struggled to get my heart rate up over 120. Next time I will better know my baseline and can go from there.
OMG! Last night I realized I had forgotten to order my brother's Xmas gift! Thank heavens I was able to get overnight delivery on it. Amazon for the win! (His gift was quite exact! He wanted a specific type of Titleist golf balls. I ordered two boxes.)
Off to brunch with my fellow music teachers this morning. Should be fun. Cleaning, grooming, wrapping, a training session, and shopping on the menu for the rest of the day.
Merry, merry!
Those jeans definitely tell the story! DH @220, 5'9" couldn't even think about getting into jeans that size.

I'Ve been remiss in posting! The day are running together and repeating like groundhog day. My folks made it safely and basically have been watching football since they got here. I've already gotten worked up about the heat and need to just relax and stop harping. I can certainly afford it and it's only for 2 months.
Kirby is in rapture with them here. I have lost my dog to them. Serves me right as I am the one who gets irritated by him, not them!
I think, as usual I have bought several wrong Christmas presents. Sigh. It's part of why I dislike exchanging gifts! I'm always sure I've picked badly.
Anyway, weight the same, food okay (though regular dinners versus how I usually eat). Errands today. Lots of sun and 22 degrees above normal here and not enough rain and no snow yet. A dry year for the southwest!
Take care all. Hope Shirley has a nice birthday. Does she reach out or answer any of you on Facebook? I fear I may have offended her in some way...
I haven't heard from Shirl - I think her life is pretty busy right now.
Don't sweat over gifts. I used to spend too much time over that. Now I do my best and hope they are okay but if not it really is the thought that counts.

I hate gift-giving, except to kids under 15. Seriously, at this age we all have absolutely everything we need and want. Right?
