No weight as I am in Massachusetts.
The flight yesterday was on time but bumpy especially on the approach to land. One of the most jouncy landings I have ever had so it was a relief to be down. Then the drive from hell through pouring wind-driven rain in the dark where sometimes the only thing you could see was the car in front of you. The hands were sore from gripping the wheel by the time I got to the hotel. DS met me here and had a similar drive from Portland ME. At least it wasn't snow.
Today it is supposed to be sunny but still very windy. We leave for the calling hours in 2 hours. That is followed by a Mass, then lunch. DS and DD will go home from there and I will drive back to the airport to drop off the car and stay in the hotel next door tonight. Tomorrow morning I should already be 1/2 hour into my flight home at this point.
DH says Justice still seems a little lethargic this morning. Hopefully he will perk up as the day goes on. DH's sisters leave mid-afternoon and he gets the evening to himself which I think he is looking forward to.
Time to read the news. Have a thoughtful Thursday!

Days of winter storm warnings and lake effect snow for my dad. Lots of opportunities to run the little Kubota tractor with the heated cab and the snow equipment! He was complaining that he's not getting as many turns as his wife who apparently does a better job with it. The feels like is -8 there at the moment with 30 mph winds. Brr. And they are warmer because of the lake. Bet it's cold for DD and Paula!
Kirby slept for hours after getting home from "camp". I think he needs a bath today. Pee-ew.
I have to do a Treasurer's report this morning that I forgot about with a change in the normal meeting date. But that's all I absolutely have to do. Everything else is optional... Tomorrow my neighbor asked if I could take her and her son to Costco (he is a chef and is catering a big event and doesn't have a membership as he normally does small cooking classes and dinner parties for a few people at a time).
So that's me! Hope you all are well and wishing you strength at the funeral Liz.
Only one thing to do (other than bathe Kirby after his fun stay at camp)! Lucky you!

145.1. Soooooooo dang close! I'm actually not as close as I think because my new height is 5 3" 1/2, not 5 4" and the BMI I looked up is for 5 4", so my actual "normal " BMI should be 143. Eh, normal schmormal!
Christmas gathering with our couple's Bible study was fun last night! The hosts made soup and sandwiches but really went all out by cooking and entire beef tenderloin for the sandwiches and making one if the most delicious clam chowders I've had! She sent some of the chowder home with us and I just had it for lunch! Yummy!
Woman's Bible study was good today. I led it this morning as our regular leader needed to go see her Mom with a dangerously low platelet count in the hospital.
I'm thinking crab legs for dinner! DH wanted to go out to eat but as CC eluded too, it is just too darn cold here! -4 today! I ordered a heated throw from Amazon that is supposed to arrive today! Can't be soon enough!
Hope your BIL's service today goes well Liz! Safe travels home tomorrow with hopefully no turbulence!
Happy dog washing CC!
I love my heated throw (so does Justice)!
I kept counting myself as 5'4" for a long time but I finally succumbed to admitting that I am only 5'3" now.

217.0 Bouncy, bouncy.... today is shot day and tomorrow is travel day. While I am looking forward to seeing my cousins and their kids and grandkids, I'm still sad about the reason. Auntie was the last connection to my mom. I always felt I could see my mom in my aunt after my mom died. There was a comfort in that recognition.
I had a gut punch at school today. I found out one of my little second graders went home very upset because several of her "friends" informed her they don't like Jewish people. She is Jewish. I really believed we were so beyond that in this school community. This type of mean spiritedness and racial prejudice literally turns my stomach and makes me emotional. I am at a loss and don't even know how to begin to process this.
Not much on the schedule today other than working out. I guess I should pack. My aunt was an artist, but married to a political journalist who was in the Carter administration. When talking to my cousin about attire for the celebration of life she suggested I choose my suit with a little flair, so the wine colored suit it will be! I should stand out like a sore thumb among the geriatric journalists, politicians and their wives. I can hear the whispers, "Oh, that must be the gay nephew from California.." Such fun to cause a stir! LOL! I will get a pic this time!
On the weight front... I bough slim fit Levi jeans in a 34 waist and they FIT! Not even super tight. Hallelujah, hallelujah....!
Gotta run, lunch is over!
