145.9, up again. Bah Humbug!
Liz, I'm glad some of my guy Christmas gift suggestions came in handy!
Draining, cleaning and refilling the hot tub on the docket for today. It's a mess. DSD had friends over for hot tubbing while they were here and you should see the crap floating on top. Not sure if it is lotion, skin or what but the hot tub has never been so gross! Thankfully, the weather is sunny and warm (for December in WI). High today will be 45. May also try and get some outdoor decorations up! DH is sleeping the day away after working a 12 hour night shift. Hopefully he can help when he gets up!
DC1 hanging out today and doing laundry at Mom's on their day off, same ol' same ol'.
Hope you enjoy your outing CC, even if you dislike the Manheim Steamrollers. We went to a TSO Christmas concert a few years back, pretty similar music. I enjoyed the light show and music!
Sounds like Hot Tubs can be a lot of work sometimes? Do you have to drain and refill them to clean them?

My body likes this weight A LOT! Doesn't want to budge. But it's all good! The pants are getting big again without losing weight. I find it amazing how the body can reshape itself.
I have my very first DEXA scan tomorrow. I wish I had been able to get one at the start of this particular journey using medication. I'm not sure what a healthy body fat percentage is for someone my age. Whatever that is, will be my goal. A little less would be great, but I do want to measure body fat rather than BMI. I think for me a much better measure.
I had such good intentions to have Christmas preparations well underway by this time. I have failed again! LOL! I don't really mind, but for some reason I feel guilty that I don't have the lights up or the tree decorated. At least shopping has started and is close to done. That at least is a little something. Perhaps once I retire I will be better at this kind of thing. Right now with working full time, doing my dog show thing, trying to get my workouts in and managing my grooming clients I don't seem to have a lot of extra time to fit in other chores.
Not much else going on here....
Ann, wishing you the best this week. I'm sure there are going to be a wide variety of "feels" for you this week.
Merry Monday!
As I recall a Dexa scan also measures muscle percentage? I had one after I reached my VSG goal. That was also when I had the test that measured how many calories I needed for maintenance. I bet your muscle percentage will be much higher than average!

Greetings all
Oops, missed yesterday. I was on gallery duty all afternoon and came home and drank wine and reheated the pot roast. So yummy. Comfort food. What I like about pot roast is that you just put it in the crock pot with onions and such and then leave for 6 hours. Of course the dogs get bites since they have to smell it cooking all day.
Anyway the gallery day was not too bad and we had some sales. I discovered the rest of the cookie package. Once again, a crime of opportunity. I actually got bored enough to sweep the floor.
Today's mission is to pick up stuff from kiln opening and get it to the gallery. Hopefully payroll will be ready soon and I can avoid multiple trips.
Sounds like everyone is in the throes of Christmas. (autocorrect wanted "shoes"). Liz that is an interesting family dynamic with the SIL. To each his own. Many years ago I met a woman who was in her 50's and did not have an SSI number. She lived in the house she grew up in and kept house for her bachelor brothers.
Bonnie glad you are feeling better and well enough to have a visitor. Sounds like the "Cup of Christmas Tea". Enjoy'
Tee Hee CC on the Manheim Steamroller. We saw them in Omaha a zillion years ago. Sounds like they are doing the same thing 30 years later. Do they still have a slide show of trees and the tiny piano from the ceiling? Glad Kirby gets dog camp.
I must get serious about Christmas which for us is not much. I do have a couple of things to order and need to get on it. Meanwhile I will sit and drink coffee.
Ann glad you had fun with your sisters. I got an email from a high school friend who talked about how closely our high school group was rooted together. Made me think that these are people on earth I have known longest except for siblings. So yay for siblings.
It is astonishing how little earthquake damage there was considering the level of the shake. Might be the nature of the quake or that everything that was going to fall down has already done so.
Time to do something. Like get another cup of coffee....

LOL on the dogs and pot roast. When I made slow-cook pasta fagioli a couple of weeks ago the dog had to smell it all day too. He seemed ravenous at dinner that night.
