It was what I thought - every box or bag had 1 thing in it. Even duplicates like dog treats each had their own box.

Greetings all

Another sunny crisp day. I am dawdling around while the house gets cleaned. DH chipped a tooth so he has been on a mission to find a new dentist. I think I mentioned we did not like the one that took over for our retired dentist. Should have started on this sooner I guess. Anyway he got a referral from the periodontist to a general dentist who is taking new patients. So we will go with it. Office staff seems nice.

19 packages CC! big Christmas list plus new house furnishing!! Enjoy. And yeah you have a 70 pound puppy! Fun story about the red mud even if it is not fun for you. Glad we don't have mud here due to aggressive weeds. Your tree looks great.

Happy birthday Ann! We all want to be you when we grow up. You have so much energy and you radiate goodness and kindness, Your DF is so lucky. Hope he knows it.

Liz that kebob dinner sounds great. We are in a food rut and need to move beyond. DH is now drinking kefir and likes it. Maybe I willl try it. Hope you can do water aerobics.

Lots of glazing for me to do for this friday's firing. That will give me some new stuff for my empty gallery space. So I will do that after I go walk at gym. Feeling guilty for skipping yesterday so must do today. Groceries after that. It's getting to be pot roast weather. But pot pie sounds good too.

Good luck with the new dentist. A chipped tooth is so annoying.

Pot roast and pot pie - comfort foods!

146.4. Very blustery cold day with snow flurries! Have I ever mentioned that I hate Wisconsin winters?

We had errands to run today so it wasn't fun being out in this blowing mess! Ate lunch at Red Robin. I had 2 bites of a mushroom Swiss burger (no bun) and 2 onion rings. Continued our hunt for a new dining room table and the prices are crazy. $9,000 for a 72 inch round table and 8 chairs. I'm thinking we may just try and refinish the granite topped table we have. I can't justify the price for a new one not knowing how long we will stay here and what will work in a downsized house/condo.

Looks like Bible study tonight might get canceled due to poor road conditions! Have I mentioned that I hate Wisconsin winters?

Yeah, that's a lot. I wish you were here. You could have my round table (with a leaf it's oval-shaped) that I can't use in KY (David's dining table and chairs are lovely family heirlooms). Therefore, I'm donating it to Habitat for Humanity. Not even the used furniture store would buy it. Maybe you could find a used furniture store somewhere in your neck of the woods?

Hi, all,

Just checking in...made it through Thanksgiving with some good friends. My DD and I decided that we would host Christmas this year as usual. Though it will be difficult, we think facing it head on is best. So she and I decorated--I'll try to post a pic on TT (I've loved seeing the other pics!).

On the weight front, I decided to stop the semaglutide for a couple of months to see how I do. I have had side effects (intestinal), so I'd like to do a reset. I fully expect that I will need to go back on at the low dose I've been using to maintain my weight loss, but I am interested to see what happens. So I skipped last Friday, my usual day. So far, nothing much has changed...

Other than that, pretty much keeping my head down and taking each day at a time. Will TRY to be better about checking in. I do read everything on FB at least!

Pulling back from the semiglutide for a bit may be wise. Everything has changed and that impacts your body too. It's good to hear you have your daughter beside you as navigate this holiday season.

Take all the time you need my dear. I took quite the hiatus after my DHs passing!
