Hot here still! 87 at the moment. But there is a 62 in the 10 day forecast. Hope they aren't lying. My friend Cathy and I went to the Sedona Art festival. Amy did not come as a very good friend of hers who I have met passed away last night and she was devastated. He was a nice man and it's not clear what was wrong, but he'd lost a tremendous amount of weight this year. The thinking was it was neurological and his whole body shut down.
I bought a few things (a very cute purse from a woman from Ghana and Mozambique), a small covered handmade ceramic dish, and two handmade suede pot holders that are washable in the colors of my kitchen. And one of the artists is bringing an oil painting over after the show. It is way too big for me to have carried myself. Lord were we sweaty. So much direct sun! I feel for the artists there for 2 days.
After we went for lunch and I had the best huevos rancheros. One the way home, Amy called and asked if we could stop at the pet store for doggy diapers because Lucy indeed was in heat! Kirby's instincts were on the money. Thankfully he didn't know what to do with her or we would be dealing with adorable puppies... She looked awfully cute in the diapers.
I should tidy up here. PS - there is a snake in my garage stuck in a glue trap. I feel bad for it, but he shouldn't have come in my garage! The guy comes tomorrow to seal up the corners of the doors...
Off to tidy!
Tomorrow I will detail my anti-rodent staging around my car!

Greetings all
Sunny here today though I passed through some fog earlier. We are getting ready for our voyage. It's only two days but there is enough stuff to make a list. Not packed yet but that is easy since stuff is clean. I have so few items so no sweat. Gotta remember to put bottled water into the car and print out the map to mote. No GPS for me.
So I did my walking and went to the studio. Got some items ready to sit and dry. Also took care of various business matters. More to do tonight. Everything happens at once.
We got a split king bed with separate adjustable controls. It's a Costo knock off of the super expensive temperpedic ones. Its good. DH sleeps with his head elevated so he doesn't snore like Godzilla. You have to special order from costco but it's about 25% the cost of the temperpedic.
Swap Shop sounds like a good idea. Except can you give stuff and take nothing back? Thrift stores are so picky around here.
Yay Peps on the shirts. So love 100% cotton. No spandex no polyester for me.
And congrats CC on the art show scores. Bet the painter was happy to deliver. Sorry Mr. Snake. No trespassing. I think I told you all how Tesla bit the head off one in the back yard a few years ago. Ick.
Well Bonnie hope the procedure goes well. Prep is indeed the worst. Food itch is exactly what it is.
I picked up chinese take out after the studio today. Lazy me. I need to empty out my purse as it's getting heavy and I know it's due to coins in the bottom. No extra baggage needed.
Not much else. Just more laundry.

We can just drop off at the Swap Shop, then pick something up another time. Some good stuff too! Someone picked up a muffin tin we dropped off while we were looking around.
And all cotton is the best! Though some rayon things are nice and flowy - polyester not so much.
