VSG Maintenance Group

After VSG I bottomed out at 113, then maintained around 117-120 for quite a while. I prefer being in the middle of a 120-125 range.

Sorry to be MIA... Dad, Dog shows, etc... Lots going on and even though I'm reading each day, I haven't had a lot of energy at the end of the day to put my thoughts together. There have been a fair number of 12-14 hour days lately given all my extra curricular duties with my dad, the dogs, dealing with RV, Vans, etc... and the extra school stuff that always seems to come around this time. Luckily, the school stuff isn't bothering me much since it is the last time I will have to deal with it! Hehehehehe.... However, I am having regular stress dreams about NOT showing up at school and not having a sub. Hmmmmmm....
Lowest weight so far today! I am absolutely officially down 50 pounds since starting in late Februaryn(55 lower than all time high in December). Feels wonderful! Paula, thank you for the kind words on Messenger! You made my day! And, you made me take note. Damn, tummy looks flat in that photo, doesn't it?
I still have about 40 to go to get to my comfort range (which is still almost 30 pounds heavier than a normal BMI for my height. Such BS!)
Sounds like y'all are keeping busy with chores domestic! I am impressed. My domicile just keeps getting worse. The garage clutter is untenable, but it's mine. I own it, but it is an ominous task to undertake.
Dog show weekend was okay, not great, but I'm really pleased that Molly did such a great job. I can't help that some of the judges didn't point to her in groups. Now fingers crossed that when final points are tallied up she will remain #1 owner handled Airedale.
New work out schedule begins today... Yay! Gotta keep that muscle on while I lose the rest of this weight.
Lunch break is almost over.... Later!
You've got a lot on your plate, Peps. I think you're doing great!

I cannot believe how different this school year is. I feel so human when I leave, instead of a dried out, battered husk of a person. May it continue.
The musical Back to the Future was very well done, with knock out special effects. For whatever reason, it's never been a story that resonated with me, but I still enjoyed the level of theater magic. If you liked the movie, I would imagine you would really like the musical. People were hooting, clapping, whistling at key moments.
The box seats were comfortable for sitting, and really awful for viewing. We nabbed some main floor seats that had gone unoccupied at intermission. Well, now I know that although the box seats look fun, they are trash.
It's a hot one, 89 today. Our house is so shaded though, we don't need the AC. I think we've turned it on about 3 times this year.
Our AC was on constantly from mid-June to mid-August which is much more than usual on Cape Cod too. The electric bills were huge this summer. In Massachusetts the electric bills are very high and the water bills relatively low compared to Florida where it is the opposite. In Florida the AC runs all year for no more than $100 maximum a month whereas in Massachusetts it has been as high as $350.

Greetings all
It's my 73 birthday and it started out sunny. It's still pretty nice and I am hoping it holds because we are going to the restaurant with the super ocean view. We shall see
The squash recipe looks great CC. Makes sense to have it savory rather than sweet. If you think about it no vegetables are that good if made sweet. ie consider sweet potatoes with marshmallows! Blech. Seems like most any vegetable could be made along the lines of this acorn squash recipe.
Well Ann I am relieved to know that you are not over mopping. And that you had a great dinner prepared for you.
Liz your morning sounds wonderful. Enjoy. Not sure what you do about extra tra****'s a real issue out here and trash is hard to get rid of. Creepy people are known to take their trash bags, wait for the truck to take someone's trash, then put their trash in the newly emptied cans. There is always 1-800 GOT JUNK but you probably don't have enough for that.
DD is so nice to hear that school is going well this year. The musical sounds great. Bet they did up the Chuck Berry part!
Peps congrats on another great dog show year! Can you keep an airedale in show coat year round or do you have to start over once in awhile?
Yay Paula you are rocking your retirement.
Not much else. I stoped at the studio and took payroll in. Horrors! the big kiln that I prefer did not fire this week as it was not full. So my stuff is still sitting there. Oh well. I also stopped at the gym to use the treadmill and burned a total of 32 calories. While there I saw two young women who appear to be anorexic. One was working out on a stair climber and really appeared unhealthy. Kind of sad.
