We may meet him soon!

We haven't been to Maine yet on our East Coast wanderings, but it's on our list. Sometimes I think we should just go ahead and move to the East Coast, but then we'd be even further from DS. And no direct flights to Madison, so not as easy to visit.
I am really enjoying getting on the scale and seeing the same weight each morning. As I've said before, I'm not thin, but what a relief to be able to maintain a weight that's comfortable. I still enjoy food, like the 3 onion rings I ate last night. Very delicious. But if a meal is more pedestrian, more about fuel than foody pleasure, I'm fine. This is even different than WLS. After WLS, I wanted the small amount of food to really "count", to be pleasurable. Wegovy has severed another link to food obsession, that still existed after surgery.
DH just left for downtown to go to some kind of Formula 1 demonstration. Like touring Aircraft Carriers, that's an interest best pursued without me tagging along and sighing :) So how shall I spend my free time? I feel like I might end up at Chicos.
Shopping that does need to happen: buying a new mattress. I love getting a new mattress, but I hate shopping for them. Always stressing out about whether we will like it long term, and are we paying a fair price. It's so hard to compare. Perhaps some research is needed. Sometimes when we're in a hotel and I really like the bed, I take a picture of the label, but I haven't done that for awhile, so I have no current labels.
Overcast after a beautiful week of sun and mid 80s. Trees are starting to turn. Can winter be far behind? Knowing that next winter I can leave whenever I want makes thinking of this one more bearable.
Exactly how I feel about this winter (at least today when it will get in the low 80's). It should be the last one I have to endure! I think I will survive it! DH says it is supposed to be a rough one with lots of snow according to the Farmer's Almanac.
Im so happy for you that you have found a happy comfortable sustainable weight! That's all any of us really needs!
I think you look beautiful - that picture of you in that dress you could fit into recently really says it all.
Mattress shopping stinks because there seems to be no good way to compare them and people's opinions are all over the place just like pizza opinions. Totally subjective and who knows if someone likes what you like.

Tickled for you, DD. It's wonderful to find a place / process / perspective that is comforting, even soothing. For me, being in control without being obsessive is a very pleasing place to be.

134.8. Just going to post this because I've started to a few times but then deleted but, Something kind'a shady about this. Last week in May I was at the top of my maintenance range and by July 11th holding smack in the middle at 145. No problem and good; however since August 14th I have continued to drop and it's not intentional at all. I'm wondering if maybe this is something to do with malabsorption and perhaps related to my pancreas/Whipple. If so, just, poop. Was told that, for no apparent reasons, sometimes changes happen. I called my endocrinologist only to find that he has moved his practice to Arkansas. For now working on the hopeful premise that all is well and good, system settling down where it wants to and fingers crossed.
BMI at 21(for what it's worth)
Biggest problem today is what I was going to wear today does not fit well and it's into the back of the closet for me. Beautiful day for a wedding! Have a good one.

Hmmm, you held your weight for 1 month, and then it started dropping again... You were in the middle of moving, so that could account for the drop, but it continues. Yes, this is something that needs investigating. How do you feel? Do you have a ballpark idea of how many calories you're eating? If you're not eating in the low range, but rather a normal range, and still losing then that's more cause for concern. But maybe you are eating less than you know, and with all the extra physical work and distractions of moving calories dropped off?
