Weight 119. I took my injection last night at the same dose as I have been taking for the prior 7 weeks. I think I will cut it back to the lowest dose next week since I am now dipping lower than my range.
Our trip back from beautiful Block Island was uneventful, after having a wonderful breakfast on a deck overlooking the harbor. I would really like to go back there again in the future. Justice was home for one night but now we are going to visit DS in Portland Maine for 2 nights, dropping Justice on the way at DH's daughter's home. He gets along well with their dog so should be fine.
So more driving today - It will take about 3.5 hours to get there. I am doing the driving as my car has been returned to me at last. I have put almost no mileage on it this year.
I hope you guys continue to have beautiful weather - ours is supposed to hold through next week. Pray for the same on September 28!
Have a fun Friday!

We're having cool, rainy weather, thanks to Francine's slow move into the South and Lower Midwest. The rain is light, but constant here, which is always a good way to remedy a drought, which we were edging into. The part of the world where I live is not known for deep, dark soil, but lots of rocks just under the surface. The joke around here is that we grow rocks, so 10 days of no rain can put us in drought mode.
Got stuff done yesterday--the kind where workmen actually respond to your texts within half an hour. I have two more appointments scheduled to check off the last of the inspection report to-dos.
Had a GREAT discussion yesterday about the Doris Kearns Goodwin book. I really like this book club--lots of retired professors and teachers and everyone's a big reader.
Today is more rain. And mopping is back on my agenda, along with more phone calls about moving logistics. You all know the drill.
Have a good one!

I was very lazy yesterday and spent most of the day on a lounger outside with a walk to the beach to play with Kirby in the water. He is not much of a retriever, so I ended up fetching a lot of balls thrown in the water. Thankfully it's a nice temp right now. Today's weather is more of the same heading to 81. I need to take my car for an oil change and find another item to tick off my leaving list... oh and maybe mail my tax checks (boooo).
12.5mg feels so much better! No urge to snack yesterday. The reflux has subsided. And I was 186.2 this morning, a new low on tirzepatide and 46 lost. Only 2.4 pounds to a normal BMI. And I've knocked a few decades off my "expected date to reach goal" on the weight tracker I've used forever. It's now July 17, 2037
Think I'll go shower and get at it. Take care all!
That's a hilariously weird feature of your weight tracker! LOL!

Yeah for 12.5 working!

165.8, the same as it was on Wednesday when I weighed. Warm and cloudy today. Did some grocery shopping this morning, otherwise not much on the docket for today. I guess we lead pretty boring lives. Hopefully that will change once we are both retired! Grandma is fairly immobile so not much to do with her that doesn't involve pushing her in a wheelchair. I've asked Vale to go with us to the Botanical Gardens over the weekend.
Grilled shrimp with peppers and onions in a sweet and sour sauce over rice for dinner. Like I mentioned before, meal planning and preparation is much more difficult when on the GLP 1's!
