Weight 121.6. Is it really September already? Now it really feels like summer is over.

DH's birthday celebration with his daughters and families was good yesterday. We were all on the beach until 3:30, then had munchies and steak tips for dinner at the house. It was exactly what DH wanted. We took all 4 dogs on a walk when we got back from the beach. So funny that little Justice, the only male, strutted along in the lead with his "harem" following. The 3 females outweighed Justice from about 15 to 50 pounds. We left early enough to watch a show on TV to unwind.

The family is cleaning up the Cape house this morning, then heading back to their homes. The grandchildren start school this week in New York, a week later than their counterparts in Massachusetts. DH and I are going back to his house this afternoon to stay for a few days for the first time since June. The main things I need to do to prep for the upcoming events at my house can be done from there - picture sorting. I am dreading it.

Have a super Sunday!

Try to have fun with the picture sorting Liz! If you are trying to pare down and you are finding that difficult, I saw an advertisement for an app that uses your phone to scan pictures to be saved digitally! I actually love sifting through old pictures and remembering the events and people of the past!

166.5. Still not eating well. I made scrambled eggs with ham for breakfast which usually goes down good but could only eat 3 bites. The thought of taking another bite made me want to hurl. I?ve been nursing an iced protein coffee since then and am considering trying cottage cheese for lunch. I really think what is going on is a double whammy of side effects from the antibiotic I?m taking and the GLP 1. Since I have to continue the antibiotic through Thursday I?m just going to skip my injection this week unless I have marked improvement in appetite!

Church this morning with DH. Soon we will make a Costco and local grocery run! Weather is cooler here today and will remain so for much of the week!

Some antibiotics really hit me hard too. Or as my Texas BIL says: The medication really threw my hat in the creek. Hope you get some relief.

Well, after the one day tease earlier this week, I'm back in the new decade again. Maybe this time it will stick.

I have too many vehicles parked in front of my house! The RV, the new dog mobile, and the 1997 Ford Econoline are all out front. Luckily, the neighbors don't care. But shee**** looks a bit crowded! Hoping to get a majority of the transfer of crates from RV to dog mobile done today. Fingers crossed that I get the reinstall of the RV dinette done tomorrow. Then I will be done with prepping the RV for sale.

So, perhaps this was a sign???? Or perhaps the GOAT was giving me the finger???? I picked up the RV and took it to the local dump station. When I removed the cap on the evacuation tube there was a blast of pressure spraying contents of the black tank. EWWWWWW..... I was hosing myself off within seconds. Only consolation was I thought to myself, "Well, that's the last time I have to do that!" YUCK, YUCK, YUCK!

Stress level was high yesterday. The fact that I had my RV in the shop, not able to use it for 5 weeks and not a damn thing had been done to it, really irked me. That, plus thinking about how to get everything done I need to get done to sell the vehicles was pressing on me. I don't remember feeling this stressed when I sold my house 16 plus years ago.... But then again, I was in my early/mid 40s and better able to cope with stress. LOL.... Actually, I know my stress was worse, but I forget (or like to pretend)!

Bug is worrying me, too. She is just not getting potty trained. I'm beginning to worry about her renal health. Sigh...

On the bright side, I have a productive day scheduled and the weather is stunning - blue skies and low 80s predicted for this afternoon. Doesn't get much better than that!

Sorry your stress level is high and that you are worried about sweet Bug! How long does potty training usually take for Airedales?

I agree on the EEEWWW factor of needing to empty the RV black tank. Thankfully my Dad always took care of that task, which is probably why we were encouraged to use the campground bathrooms unless it was an emergency!

Poor Baby Bug! How does that get diagnosed?

The dreaded black tank was the main thing keeping me from an RV to move dogs around the country!! I saw that scene in RV with Robin Williams and couldn't get it out of my head...

Well that image would guarantee that I will NEVER own an RV. I'm sure sales of the vehicles will go smoothly and hopefully Bug is just on the late side with potty training.

So just out of curiosity if the RV is semi-permanently installed at a site, how does one empty it?

In that situation you'd most likely have a "sewer" hook up. That means the gray tanks would be open all the time to drain directly into the sewer. The black tank can be emptied by opening the valve with the contents moving through the same hose. Make sense?

Yes, it does. Thanks!
