166.7! Just a hair down but I'm not complaining.
We are in Madison today. DS2's apartment is cute. His aesthetic is retro eclectic artsy. I actually love how he puts things together! We went to the Farmers market this morning (I only bought garlic bulbs and green beans) then we walked the downtown area and he showed us the 2 places he works. He teaches at an Aveda Institute and also works at a place called Facial Collective. In a bit we will pick up his BFF that also lives in Madison and go to the Taste of Madison.
I'm having a hard time getting in my calories again. Not sure if it is the GLP 1 or the antibiotic I'm on or perhaps a combo of the two. Both can cause nausea and fatigue. I just know I'm getting sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. I may decrease my Tirzepatide to 2.5 for a week and see how I feel.
Greetings all
It's a true pac northwest day today with fog with sun hints. The old car was successfully hauled away today without drama. All gone. I got up earlier than I had to so I am a martyr.
Our football team did well and won by lots today but it's good. No sulking here.
DH succeeded in getting some new kind of cable tv access through his apple tv so he is stoked. Only about 6 called to tech support. Got it done. Hoping it works or DH will be cranky.
DD I can't believe you have to take tests after training videos!!! I would cheat too. Seems like a waste of time. Glad you had a nice evening out. Show us your dress pic!
Bonnie, one wonders why field mice, who have corn and soybeans available, would choose to much on auto parts. Guess it's a timing thing. I don't understand what it is that rodents like in engines but I get it. Happened to me too. Liz hoping your car gets fixed soon.
And DD yes you should do the funeral. The kids will remember. Good they went ahead with birthday party.
Protein protein. Sometimes I do wish there was a protein pill (Major Tom). The stuff is filling.
Hamburgers tonight. Don't gag Paula -we like them. Your DS2 apartment sounds cool. Love the funky eclectic stuff that young people do. At my age it's called mid century junk.
Time to go do my walk which means a bra must be utilized. Gravity...its the law...

FYI on the auto wires. Many auto manufacturers are switching to soybean based insulation for the electrical wires in our cars to be more eco friendly. Ford and Mercedes were some of the first, but now many, many more companies are doing it. Plus, it's an inexpensive insulation to use and can lower production costs.
Wow - who knew that some eco friendly changes can cause other problems?

Hi, everyone,
I saw all of your notes of sympathy, both here and on FB, and I'm very grateful. It was such a shock to lose my DH so quickly. I knew the Parkinson's was getting worse and that he was struggling more, but I can see now that he was probably holding on and quietly suffering more than he was letting on. Anyway, I'm kind of a mess but trying to put one foot in front of the other and get stuff done. My DD has been staying with me which has been tremendously helpful. And I think it helps her too--she was really close to her dad. Anyway, I'll be checking in again, maybe not everyday, but I did want to thank you all for your kindness!
