Weight 121 (official weekly weight). Since my weight was unchanged for 3 weeks and there was about 5 ml left in the vial I used the 5. Week to week decision on whether to drop to 2.5 at some point. And also whether I will stop taking it altogether like BB ultimately. Her reasons for stopping were very sound but I only seem to have positives from the meds. I still enjoy food but way less of it and don't crave the really bad carbs. And I love that the usual inflammation in my knees and other joints is gone.
My car is still at the dealer and they did not call with the update they promised yesterday so I will be chasing them this morning. This dealer used to have fantastic customer service which is why I bought my last 2 cars from them. I had experienced great service on my prior car when I first moved full-time to the Cape. But now getting them on the phone is nearly impossible and when I leave a voicemail it is rarely returned. I spelled this out in the review from the corporate entity - they used to really care about those reviews but who knows anymore.
Today we are going to the beach for a bit, then meeting friends at the local winery and going out to eat at a place which created wonderful outdoor dining during COVID and retained it. It is just down the street and a favorite spot. I will miss all my usual places to walk, go to the beach, shop, and eat out after I sell the house. But it is time.
Have a finagling Friday!

I was just on FB and it looks like ThinLizzy's DH passed away. Several of us have been in her shoes previously. Sending her condolences and love.

Terrible news! Lizzy, we are here for you.

Quick catch-up. We got the house! And yes, it?s a house, not a condo. As I?ve said before, the condo inventory is so very low in Kentucky that we rethought what we need and took a broader view of things. Our new ?forever home? is in a GREAT neighborhood with excellent access to freeways, shopping, restaurants, etc.
The negotiations turned into a 3-way bidding war with best and final bids plus escalation clauses in case of ties. Turned out that our best and final bid was enough, and we still got a great deal!
Closing will be 4-6 weeks from now. Inspection is today (we won?t be there for it, but that?s ok). Moving will be a challenge, because it?s moving. But it is great to not have to worry anymore about the great unknown. We?ll be here in my house until December, so we can refinish floors in the new house, etc. before we really move in.
Today is one of those 20-item to-do list days, so I have to get up, get dressed and be somebody. Cheers!
P.S. I am so looking forward to having only ONE house! The multiple homes scene is not one that I enjoy--financially or logistically.

Congratulations!!! Multiple homes is definitely a royal pain at times. Though we will still have 2, DH is hoping to shift maintenance responsibilities to his kids.
