Greetings all

It's sunny today and warm. For a moment I was actually hot! Experiencing the summer conundrum of whether to cut my hair shorter but in doing so forfeit the ability to do a pony tail. Such a dilemma. Spent the morning doing grown up stuff like gallery insurance and checking on its state income taxes. The tax board has such a convoluted web site and phone tree that I finally called my state assembly representative for assistance. Totally absurd but they agreed to help. After that I stopped at the studio and did glazing and a few other chores.

DH went to costco and brought home shrimp. So thats dinner for a few days. Works for me.

Yeah the princess bush is very happy here. They are very frost sensitive so they only thrive if they are up against a building. The one out in the yard bit the dust. At Halloween we are going to have to cut it way back because we watch the kids through the kitchen bay window and it blocks. Blooms will be gone by then. And yeah Peps, this place is hydrangea heaven.

Congrats DD on not having a dumpster fire at work. Good idea not to over stress over ridiculous changes. Oh boy, midwestern thunderstorms! Nothing like them. Hope it's not too bad.

Well Peps not surprising you have some mixed feelings over loss of Goat. It's a big deal. But trust me, being retired is fabulous. And think of the fun you will have showing that puppy which will be show age about when you retire.

Liz good on you for thinking of the refrigerator clean out. Many years ago Crazy Pat came to visit us and ended up staying two years. When she finally went back to LA, the stuff in her refrigerator was so bad that the whole appliance had to be tossed! Just imagine that. Fur in the mechanical parts. Sounds like all the bride week stuff was fun.

CC Kirby is a water dog! Look out, he will never get out! Good that you have AC for the sticky hot days.

Paula I bet that pound drops once you are home for a couple of days.

So much for retired life. Time to turn on the news and walk on the treadmill.

My hair was short for years - always short enough to not be able to get in my eyes. I can't stand it in between that length and ponytail length especially if I am trying to get something done with my head down.

Shrimp is such a great healthy source of protein.
