Back from today's activities. We went to the house where JFK was born in Brookline. It is run by the National Park System, and has just reopened after being closed for many years due to a mix of Covid and renovations. DH was delighted. As an Irish Catholic, he is a big JFK fan.
Our next stop was the Isabella Stuart Gardner museum. Wonderful, eclectic collection in a beautiful Italianate building. It is probably best known for the robbery in 1990, where the robbers came dressed as police, convinced the guards to let them in, and made off with 13 paintings. The museum chose to keep exhibiting the empty frames.
I think the maintenance phase of these medications is yet to be carefully studied. And according to my WLS clinic, bariatric surgery patients are not part of any of the studies, so we are making it up a bit as we go along.
I'm not decluttering in the manner most of you are. Stuff leaving our house currently is my clothes, papers, books. DH has tried to let go of a few things. One closet in a spare bedroom has boxes of slides, in those plastic carrousels. DH has been working on transferring them to digital format (he has some gizmo that copies them), but I know he will NEVER dispose of the actual slides. He also has bags and bags of negatives from pre digital photos.
CC, I hope there is a quick answer to your Dad's health struggle.
Peps the weather this summer in Minnesota, and the upper Midwest has been crazy and not normal. Big swing from last year when you were cooking in Stillwater.
Tomorrow off to Minnesota, but not until 9pm. I sure hope we don't have any big delays.
