By all means take the rest of the day; you've had enough grief today to last for the next few weeks! Be sure to inform Kirby of your plans. Deep down I know he lives just to make your life a joy. He reminds me of afavorite I read to the kids when they were young, The Naughty Bunny, who " tried to be a good little bunny, but he didn't try very hard ".
What a day! Definitely time to just chillax!

Hope DS doesn?t get too sick Liz! Date night sounds great! We love doing those too (almost always involves going out to eat!)
Even though I have a long way to go, I?ve been thinking about maintenance as well (and the cost). I?m hoping that once insurance companies see how much healthier people are they will start to cover the meds! It doesn?t even seem right that they can pick and choose what will be covered.
Hope the rest of your day goes better CC. Yikes! Kirby joining you in the shower sounds cute though!
We took down most of the tree in the front yard today. DH and I took a 30 minute walk. Gotta start somewhere! The 2 boys that don?t live local are here and DC will join us all for dinner tonight. I?m grilling out hamburgers and made the kid?s favorite pasta salad! They all made fun of my keto lunch (hard boiled egg, piece of string cheese and 2oz. of ham lunch meat! I tried the peaches and cream premier protein shake last night and it was good!
Injection day tomorrow. Last week at the starter dose. I?m a little nervous about moving up and wonder if I should delay it a bit. If I have an extra dose in my bottle, I might just stay another week on 2.5.
I think the cost from the pharmaceutical companies has to go down before insurance companies cover the meds - otherwise insurance costs will have to go up.

I know. I feel a little faint too, even though it's just a fantasy.

Greetings all
Sunny and warm here again. 73 degrees Feels like more. I went to the studio to rescue some items I left out before they are too dry. Saved. hardly anybody there. All at the beach I bet. Its warm enough today that I sort of wish I owned a pair of shorts!
CC what a **** show morning for you! Alarms never go off at 1 pm. Always at some hideous hour. Glad you have completed all your events.
Liz sorry DS is sick. Disappointed to hear that new covid is going around. I think there might be another shot this fall which I will get. Friend just came back from France and thinks she caught it on the airplane. More reason to stay home.
Bonnie biscuits and gravy is so Kansas! I remember as soon as one crossed the border from Nebraska into Kansas they automatically appeared on menus. Love it. Years ago DH and I used to go to this sort of camp in the Ozarks. There was always two kinds of gravy at each meal. (white and brown for those of you who do not know their gravies).
Lizanne glad the party went well. Whew bet you are glad thats finished.
Thank you all for being trizepitide guinea pigs! Maybe someday this little piggy will get some. But that would require weighing...
Watched the rest of Griselda. Then had to do something light hearted like "Acapulco". Cute show.
Ann you are on to something. I wear the same few things all the time. Drawers are full of stuff that "too tight" "ugly" "uncomfortable" "ratty looking" "fits wrong" "no pockets" "too dressy" "icky fabric" and on and on. Why don't I just throw it away? Because as my hippie friends say "Where's away?"
Found some taccitos in the freezer for last night. Not good. They need to go to "away".

I tried to donate all the stuff I had on that list. I still have too much.
