DD flies home today - we will drop her off at the airport after stopping for a Dutch Pancake breakfast. I plan to just have bites of theirs because there is no way I can eat one of those massive pancakes. But DD really wants to try them. Last night we had really great tapas in the yard of an historic home. Good flavors and perfect for me. The service was good and the cost reasonable. A win all around.
I had a solid sleep last night after a not so good night and all bodily systems seem to be in order so that's good. Tomorrow is injection day. I am still going to stay at 5 mg at this point. I was just realizing that I have not felt lightheaded for the last few days so it definitely seems to only happen the first couple of days after injection. So I don't think it is dehydration and I know it's not low blood pressure. I did see other people in the FB group mentioning it.
Not much else in the land of teal seas. We have two more nights here so tonight will be ****tail hour with friends on the beach watching the sunset, followed by leftovers at our room. I'm always a little sad when I leave but after 3 weeks here I am ready to get home and see my little dog boy.
Excess food tossing needs to start today as well. We leave unopened items for the maid, but all else has to be thrown out. I was pretty good this year - most of the extra is stuff that DS and younger DD didn't eat and left with us plus a couple of items that I just didn't like the taste of so had to replace them. I hate wasting food.
Have a weightless Wednesday!

Very unsatisfactory day of errands yesterday! I got the fans loaded up and listened to them rattle for the 30 minute drive to Habitat ReStore. There are no signs, so I drove in and to what looked like the drop off lane. The guy said I was going the wrong way (no one else there) and I had to go around to the side street and back in to right.where.I.was. Fine. Get out again and for the same guy to say they aren't taking fans. Great. They told me to try Goodwill across the street. I drive over there. They aren't taking them either. Perfect. 30 minute drive back to Sedona, fans rattling away at my nerves.
I have a package to return, so I stop and the smaller of the two post offices. It's 1:50pm on a Tuesday, so of course they are closed. Back in the car to drive 10 minutes to the other post office. Drive the 25 minutes home, fans still rattling.
I then contacted the lady who runs the charity to get things to the Navajo reservation. She doesn't want them because electricity is spotty there. Understandable. Posted on NextDoor for someone to take them or ideas for who would want them, no response. But throwing away perfectly good ceiling fans in the desert surrounded by a lot of impoverished areas seems ludicrously wasteful! They're just ugly to me, not bad in any other way...
Today is shot day. Despite a 0.6 pound uptick from my lowest point this week, I am still down 2.6 for the week at 193.8.
I need to mail a birthday card today, but that's all that has to happen (the mail is ridiculously slow these days. How does the post office explain an Amazon package taking two days and a letter to the same place taking a week?). Another trip to the post office. Why did I not think of this yesterday?
Sorry, a bit ranty today, but now it's out of my system!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
My heart is breaking for you- I truly feel your pain.
Is there a Habitat for Humanity resale store nearby? Someone wants them (just why I don't know, but, hey).
. I'm sure this is not a possibility for you, living where you are, but there are communities around us with drop spots (like meaning on the curb in front of your house) and what ever and I mean Whatever, is there will, guaranteed, be gone by the end of the day; snatched and cherished by hoarders or folks legitimately needing or wanting that very thing you don't don't want. I'm convinced your shining, blingy fans would be gone in a flash.
Such is neighborliness giving and receiving practiced in such SEK communities.
Truly frustrating! Good on the weight though.

I love the idea of a weightless Wednesday, as in experiencing the day in a light, leisurely, easy breezy manner without a snag or conundrum to be found. Yes, please.
With said approach to mind- am off to begin ,continue, and or complete 100% mindless and simple, but impressive looking tasks. DH doing the grilling. See how effortlessly I just prepared dinner for tonight? Well done, me! At this rate there's no telling the vast number of jobs I can accomplish.
Tapas- An experience DS#1 went into great detail happily recreating the Tapas had while in Spain. Yummy.
And you are truly back to 150!

Liz, hour 3 weeks have flown by. You've created a lot of community and family time. Now soon, back to Justice, and getting the house on the market, and wedding preparations. Are you still hosting a bachelorette party in Florida? When will that be?
CC, I can't believe you can't donate those fans! They're practically new, and there is surely someone who would find them beautiful. Or at least useful. I hope someone from the buy, sell, free group claims them.
Miss 150, grilling, always an inspired idea, especially if you are not the grillmaster, only the grilltaster.
More weather whiplash. Yesterday was 84 with a 72 dewpoint! Drippy. A cool front came in yesterday along with another huge storm. This morning low dewpoint and 60s. Feels like fall. Yesterday, a sundress, today a sweater. We're having a friend over for ****tails today. The whole point was she liked pictures of us having an evening ****tail in the Adirondack chairs in the front of our house, and joked she liked old fashioneds. So DH is going to make old fashioneds and serve them too us "girls" in the chairs. I hope it warms up a bit today! Some sun would be nice, but probably too much to hope for. Tomorrow we have plans for an outdoor concert, and Friday, a baseball game. Rain forecasted for those days, plus Saturday. Alternate plans may be necessary.
Yesterday was a good day protein wise, which proves to myself I can do this with some planning. Weight holding steady this week. Working out is feeling good! Exercise, the mortgage you pay to have a good life. (quote from one of my mentors and good friend, who has since passed away. He lives on in all the good he shared and did).
