Lots of good, useful feedback, as usual from our very effective support group. CC, thanks for outlining how you get your protein. Adding tuna to my list of things I think go down easier. Peps, I appreciate you sharing that left to your own devices, the meds don't encourage you to eat protein. The struggle is real. Miss 150, I am stomping my feet about having to monitor my protein intake because I am taking a medication I can stop at any time, while you find a path forward to deal with what is a lifetime challenge. Thanks for the perspective. I am also in awe of your discipline and determination to feed yourself optimally.

So in the mode of just %$%& do it, I had 23 grams of protein for breakfast. (Fair life milk, an egg, some Costco shrimp).

Liz, can you say when you list your house that the closing will be in October, so buyers making an offer know that from the get go? Probably not a good strategy in a buyer's market, but could work fine in a sellers market? My Aunt and Uncle did that when they sold their Ipswich house. They knew they couldn't move into their new place until the end of August. The buyers agreed to this condition, even though the purchase agreement was signed in April.

The sun was out until 9am. Now it is overcast and will rain, again!!! June rain average is 1.9 inches. So far this month we've had 4.5 inches, and we're not done yet. Perfect day to go see a movie. But first, off to Planet Fitness.

Yes, I will ask that this be put forth to any prospective buyers, but my realtor/friend asked me to be prepared in case an offer too good to pass up with an earlier closing comes in. I've already thought to myself that $15k extra wouldn't be enough, but I'm not sure where the amount would sway me...

I love seeing so many posts this early! And I love our little group is still lively, informative, and expanding this many years on. How many people can say they've kept a group like this alive and thriving this long?? We rock!

I woke up with that weird feeling that I'm supposed to be doing something I'm forgetting. But I don't think I am... Maybe just some pre-relocating-for-summer anxiety.

Should be a very comfortable 89 today with low single digit humidity. It's actually a really pleasant temp without the stickiness!

The fandeliers are in my car ready for the drive to Habitat for Humanity. I do need to sort the extra stuff into different bags for each fan (wall switch, remote, etc) so they don't get lost. They weigh a ton! The guys offered to move them into my car for me. They were great.

Half of yesterday's scale jump went away today. Hopefully the other half leaves soon.

Anyway, off to start the day!

My starting weight with the Tirzepatide was up a few pounds. I thought it was jus****er weight from the Father's Day Mexican restaurant fairs, but it is persisting.

I got 41 grams of protein in for breakfast with only 300 calories consumed. I made a smoothie with Oikos Triple zero yogurt, 1 cup of frozen fruit, 1 cup of almond milk and one scoop of vanilla whey isolate. I could barely fini**** and in fact felt a little nauseous toward the end. Protein shakes and bars do their job but are just not my favorite anymore!

Yogurt with blueberries and almonds for lunch and grilled shrimp and scallops with a salad with blue cheese, tomatoes and bacon crumbles for dinner are the planned meals for the rest of the day.

Warm and windy day here. Having loads of fun doing laundry!

Greetings all

More sun here today. The fog dissipated at about 1. I got murdered at Scrabble by everyone. Then I was off to the races for errands. Banking for the gallery as we were out of small bills. We now have 50 1's and others. The street in front of the gallery is being resurfaced so I had to sneak in the back way. Not a bad thing as there are a million great views that way. I drove down to the beach to make sure there were no impedements for when little bro and dog arrive next week. I invited the scrabble crew to lunch with bro next week at the Marina which has a cutesy cafe.

So with all these errands I skipped my weekly cheeseburger and had a roast beef sandwich at home. Maybe dinner will be the same.

Congrats Bonnie on being 150. Good job. You know what you are doing. Grain is amber already? I forget that it grows and gets cut earlier than corn. The fields around here are pasture or hay.

DH actually took one dog on a walk today! I have been concerned about how sedentary he has become since he was in the hospital for afib awhile back. Poppy barely knows how to walk on a leash and is a pain but I am sure she was thrilled.

Liz good luck with toss and donate. No fun. I bet your agent is right that house will sell quickly so plan for it. Buyers probably will want some summer days in the place. Glad you got to snorkel.

Thanks all for the protein reminders. I am not doing well on that front but must renew resolve. Dr. C used to say it should be a goal to get 30 g of protein in within one hour of getting up. If that was my goal I would never get out of bed. But I get the point.

Thats about it. Cheers. Diane S

We only saw one last field that hasn't been cut while coming back from Tea at Two, and, pulling into the drive saw the reapers on the very fields I was admiring this morning. Time to focus on the corn, I guess.

BTW, Kurt let me off the baking hook and made a pan of oatmeal raisin &nut cookie bars for tea.
