Would love to be beaching it like Liz.
Love the chairs CC. Want to give me some of that energy?
Seems like there are soooo many health benefits to the GLP 1 meds, a lot more than just weight loss. Speaking of GLP 1 meds, mine came in the mail today! I think I will start injections on Sunday! Looking forward to the results but know I might not see too much while on the loading dose.
Boring day at home with Mom. Will soon go to my Heart Rhythm doctors appointment and then to friends house to help with grad party food prep.
Will make grilled tilapia with grilled veggies and rice (which I won't eat) for dinner tonight. I love grilling season, which will be year long once we get to FL.
Florida is getting major flooding right now and this season is supposed to be bad for hurricanes. Hope these things won't be too much of a deterrent for us house hunting there. I don't think I can take many more WI winters.
It is injection day for me, too. I am not down any weight this week that I can tell. I should probably be keeping a record, but since I'm trying to NOT DIET, keeping a weight log feels too diet-y. I felt that the few days after the dog shows and no company have been really quite good on the food front, so not sure why I'm still bouncing back and forth these two pounds. Yesterday I did have a work out that did lead to actual muscle failure, so I could be holding some fluid because of the repair work going on internally. Who knows....
Today I fixed a protein forward brunch (30 grams of real food protein), along with avocado and even a Trader Joe's English Muffin. More that I am usually eating, but sometimes, that little up swing in real, whole food kicks me into weight loss. I'll have a protein bar before trimming Molly and chug some water.... Dinner is planned leftovers.
Like CC, I will be going up to 10 mg on my next round. I figure at my weight, it's probably better to go "big" on the dosages. If I need to go all the way to 15 mg injections, I will.
I have been working out all my travel plans for the end of July/beginning of August. I've had fun finding hotels along the way and figuring out how far I can manage to drive each day. I'm looking forward to the cross country adventure.
Second set of dog crates arrived and have been installed in the new Grand Highlander. They will do the trick. I think eventually I may replace with a higher end and safer crate system, but for now, they will do just fine.
There is a lot to do, but I'm not much in the mood. Not a good thing....
Glad everyone seems to be enjoying their present state of mind and being!
Greetings all
It's a typical summer day here. Sunny now but this morning was chilly and overcast. Love it.
I think I am going to be forced to make a list. There are lots of things to do before my brother comes and as I turn them over in my mind I swear they magnify. If I make a list I will see how truly manageable it is. I am looking forward to doing some redwood stuff that is always available but we just don't bother. Need to do some food planning as brother has to avoid salt but is thin and needs proper nutrition. Making another list.
DD beach summer in Brazil!! How cool is that. What a great time. And ditto with your college friends.
Liz sand sculpture is so cool. We used to have a sand sculpture contest here but I have not heard of it these past few years. What a nice treat to view on your trip.
Peps where is your trip? Road trip sounds fun.
Yeah I took lipitor for years and had aches all the time. Though it was because I was fat. Eventually the dosage increased and so did the aches and we figured it out. I no longer take any statin. My overall cholesterol is high but the ratio is good so doctor and I just ignore it. Liz hope Mike gets some relief from his aches.
Bonnie enjoy the garden puttering. What happened on the house thing?
CC LOVE those chairs. Tres chic. How fun to decorate your new home. I think the barf carpet squares sound like a good idea. I chose my new floor based on dog toenails and outside dirt color. Glad you have nice people that you can get to know better through the homeowners association.
Not much else. A bit of studio time today. Turkey wrap from the deli tonight. Gallery duty tomorrow.

I can't get anything major done without a list. And once something is on a list I start to feel compelled to accompli**** (which is why sometimes I leave things I want to procrastinate about off lists LOL).
