Spent 6 hours in the car today going to get my Mom and bringing her back to my house. She will stay for 11 days!
Food is still on track, I'm eating between 1,000 and 1,200 a day not on the GLP 1 yet. Took a walk with Dh yesterday, first real exercise for quite some time. It felt good!
My GLP 1 med order got sent in. I don't know how long it will take to get here. Is there a day of the week you prefer to inject? Do you all rotate spots? I was reading that someone injects in the thigh and has less side effects vs. when the injected in the belly. A lot to learn going forward I'm sure!

I alternate thighs. Since the Wegovy is a one use pen, sort of like an epipen, I can't inject into my stomach. Too wobbly and too much loose skin. I would have to press down so hard to try and trigger the needle! I've moved around the day I inject within the usage directions for Wegovy. I prefer evening, and I initially started on a Thursday night. I thought if it hit me hard, I would get a sub. Turns out I had no real side effects that interfered with teaching. Now I take my shot 7 -9 days from the last dose, depending on how I'm feeling. Tomorrow would be 7 days, but I'm feeling a lot of restriction today, so I may wait another day or two.

I alternate arms. I didn't feel much effect in my stomach. I have no idea if that's because I had 11" of what was my belly removed with my plastic surgery. I haven't tried thighs, mostly because I read a lot of anecdotal reports of it not being as effective. And a little because I don't carry much fat there. But I have LOADS in my arms. Who knows! You sort of have to try on yourself and see what you like best.
I inject on the left side of my lower belly. I just grab the fat roll, squeeze it together between my fingers and inject. Belly injections seem to work just fine with me. I have had some side effects (mostly with the semaglutide, not the tirzepatide), but from what I have read there is no evidence that suggests that changing injection sites lessens side effects.
Both my orders shipped 2-3 workdays after my meeting (HenryMeds). They were delivered the next day after shipment.
I alternate sides on my belly. Because of my tummy tuck it is mostly numb under my belly button so I don't feel it. Also I often get a slight red mark for a few days so I don't want my injection site visible when in a bathing suit. I haven't had any other notable side-effects other than sometimes being a bit jittery (as Peps calls it) in the morning for the next day or 2 afterwards. I inject in the morning on Thursdays when I take my other daily medication (because I received my first order on Wednesday). I do my once-a-week weigh-in on Friday mornings because some of the others who weigh daily report a drop in weight the day after the injection. I choose not to weigh daily while losing weight so I don't have to see all the ups and downs. I only weighed monthly after VSG.
